It seems that Donald Trump has an ally on the other side of the aisle — one who isn’t afraid to speak up about the most pressing issue facing our nation!
Democrat Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard stated: “For years now, our government, working with countries like Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Quatar, have been through the CIA, quietly arming and supporting these groups that are directly working with groups like Al Qaeda and ISIS.”
Barack Obama knew, and approved of, the CIA’s actions to support terrorist groups around the globe, particularly in Syria. Obama founded ISIS — Trump was right!
Gabbard has been trying to pass a bill to prevent this very scenario for years.
In fact, this January, she actually went to Syria to see the situation for herself! The Congresswoman is a veteran of the Iraq war, so she’s not a stranger to terrorists, and is dedicated to making sure we eliminate groups like ISIS once and for all. (via Washington Post)
Gabbard’s spokesperson, Emily Latimer, said of the trip, “[Gabbard] felt it was important to meet with a number of individuals and groups including religious leaders, humanitarian workers, refugees and government and community leaders.”
Unfortunately, her fellow Democrats have chosen to ignore her efforts, preferring to back a president who sends money to Iran, and a p**********l candidate who is in bed with Saudi Arabia. These two countries support terrorist activities, sometimes sending the very money we give them to those who wish to destroy our nation and the freedoms for which we stand.
Gabbard has been trying to remind her party that this should be a bi-partisan issue. Her bill is called the “Stop Arming Terrorists Act.” It doesn’t get any more obvious than this, folks.
Maybe now that she has come forward, common sense will start to leak into the rest of her party.

I don't know about common sense. More likely she'll meet with some unfortunate 'accident'. It's dangerous to be right when the government is wrong, and doubly so when you're a part of it.

Listened to her before. She's really not a Democrat but would never get elected as a Repiblican. She is what we need more of in government.

We need more people like her in government. She has principles and stands by her convictions even when it it is not the mainstream view in Washington.
