I have to admit I love this e-mail and will stand behind this woman anytime for her observation.

This picture was posted on a website with this accompanying question:

"If you were in a public place, would you feel comfortable with him sitting ten feet away from your children?"

This is the thoughtful response from one of the readers:

"I would gently explain to my children that while it is his absolute right to do it, I do not approve. In no uncertain terms I would tell them that if I ever catch THEM wearing a black cap, gray shirt, tan slacks, blue socks with brown running shoes, IN PUBLIC, I will slap the s**t out of them!"

I would happily sit next to him, and encourage my kids (if I had any) to talk to him. Then I would invite him to join me at the local range where my friends and I shoot when it is too windy to use my target range at home which is outside.
NPP (SWMBO says she would invite him to join us for dinner to finish off the evening)

We have an indoor 15 yard range in town, $10.00 hour unless were the only ones there then all day for $10.00. It helps a lot when you know the owner I guess.

I was lucky. I had an abandoned Quarry I could use for free. Shout off several hundred rounds a week.

We had an old rock quarry just outside town but some pigs kept leaving bottle, TV and appliances behind so the owner shut it down. Even small towns have their deplorable asses.

People carrying openly here is getting so commonplace no one even notices anymore. I still prefer to carry concealed most of the time, because I still think that the first clue anyone should have that you're armed is a bright flash and a loud bang.

True Loki but if they heard the bang and saw the flash it may mean you missed the target. Remember the shot you hear ain't the one you worry about, but then if you didn't hear it you ain't gott's no more worries anyway.

Au contraire. They may not hear the bang, but the flash is the last thing they will see. Unless of course there is some way to shoot them in the back legally.

What shooting someone in the back isn't legal? Hell the Demonrats have been doing it for generations so I thought that old law was suppressed. Well damn it all I wonder if the Clinton's have heard it yet?
