I live in Washington state, I am scared for my life, the radiation levels are increasing, the media is saying nothing about it. I don't know what to do, it is a hidden k**ler. no amount of prepping could ensure complete safety from radiation, the radiation is spreading across the country as well, am I completely screwed? I know s**t will hit the fan when there are to many cases of rad poisoning for the local and national media to ignore.
what do you think?

I think you have a valid concern, that damaged reactor is still leaking into the ocean. My question is "when is the LSM going to start covering this disaster?"

the radiation being propelled out of fukashima will inundate ALL of the west coast. There has been a lot of information coming forth on it on Coast to Coast a m. The ONLY solution to the problem IS Leave. There are two sources of contamination ...sea and air. North of SF to BC will be hit hardest FIRST. Far eastern parts of Wash and Oregon fairly safe... for a while. Look at air currents and ocean currents to determine. Buy a radiation detector friend and use it! The is no cure for fukaqshima and it will GET WORSE. RUN don't hesitate!!! No BS buddy! It's real serious!

We are famous for looking after our own interests overseas. We have military in Japan for example not for their benefit but for our own.

Why have we not sent thousands of technicians and nuclear experts to Japan to help clean the site up? Why stand back and let the obviously incompetent Tepco personnel mess it up?

I wish I had a magic wand but I was being sarcastic about moving here we just are doing well as far as unemployment goes and other isssuez. I dont know how to help you maybe someone else does but its looking bad.

I live in Oregon, just outsice of Klamath Falls. I am with you, scared to death! I already have been exposed to radiation (don't know where, when, or how) because I have thyroid problems, had a cyst removed along with half my thyroid a couple of years ago. Right now, it looks like we are okay, but we are buying a guiger (not sure of spelling) counter, or radiation measurer. I will not sit here and get radiation posioning! We have built a new home, and it is up for sale, if we cannot sell it, oh well! Going to East Texas, that is at least farther away from the fallout!
I would suggest not eating ANY food from California, and especially tuna, or shrimp, unless the shrimp is from a fresh water farmer. Forget any sea food for a long, long time! Grow your own food, or buy local from a farmer.
Good luck, we are all being poisioned, and are helpless!
