Ok.....So we have "A day without immigrants.." Now we have a day without Women....
'
It's silly, really.

Let's just take this to the absurdity......A day without Men. Guy's.....You have been hammered down for so long...It's time to rise up and .......Do nothing.....Rise up and do nothing.
By doing nothing, you and all males can send a message...You are able to do nothing.

And, I am not being r****t. It's not only white males, it's every male. Let's do nothing together. We are on strike!
We'll show them.....The other..Ummmm.....
It doesn't matter, we take a stand, or sit.....Or lay down....But we are not going to be pushed around! Because if we just lay around, or sit, we are too heavy to be pushed around...Yeah...Get heavy.

Power of the pound!

ell,

Well, you know, sometimes you have to use absurdity to illustrate the l*****t hypocrisy.
But, I have to point out, you should have used "You're" instead of " Your"....
Just a nitpick.

Well, 1000 bucks?
You sure that's enough?

Don't know, should I take more? How much does it take to prove a mute point.

Just another crap.march. The world will not explode because of a day without women. It's just a bunch of rich b $$ches that carry Prada purses and can afford to take the day off.

Sorry part about it is, many will be ignorant fools that will probably lose their jobs but will be thinking they'll be making some profound statement.

Yes...and what a profound statement. Now I have no job and no way to pay my bills. I'm upset about the teachers taking off. It's school NOT politics. What about those parents that have to work and now have to find a place for their kids for the day...

Feminists have planted the seed that women are monumental pillars of society, where as in fact, they aren't helping themselves. They may be bringing attention to themselves today but nobody that lives in the "real" world really gives a hoot. Just another circus sideshow by the left. Boo Hoo.

I took the day off as well......I made breakfast for the kids, got them to school, came home and did laundry. Then, I fixed the vacuum (belt broke, and a new bag), vacuumed the house. Did the dishes as well.
After all this, I said to my self....Self, go get a six pack of beer...No...Twelve pack....I'll show them...
Yeah, after I pick up the kids and make dinner.....I'm gonna drink that beer....A couple, anyway....
And then......I'm gonna.....Go to work tomorrow after I make breakfast for the kids and get them to school and..........

At least I'll have some beer left in the fridge.....

That is what a day without a male looks like for me.

Sans the beer, we are always working. Sure, there are some guys that are lazy. You know who you are....
And some women are lazy.

But, let's face it...The least appreciated "Class" of people are white males.

There is Black history month.....Breast cancer awareness month....Womens history month....Hispanic heritage month....
There are college classes to study LBGT history. I think you can get a degree.

Now, I'm not asking for any "Special" privilege. The g****r of a person, religion, or color of skin is OK with me. Having been around the world, and many African countries, I know there are good people and not so good people.
Having been employed and an employer in certain industries, I know that women do not like jobs where they don't have an affinity to the tasks. It is just so.

My ex wife always said, " I want to cook for you this time..".....Rarely happened...Nope...I would get home and she would say," Can you go pick up the pizza?"....I'm like, " I thought you were going to make..." Before I could finish the sentence, it was, " I had to work all day and pick up the kids and I don't want to eat after 8 and.." and on and on. " And besides, you don't like my cooking anyway!"
Hmmm....Maybe if she tried, I could render an opinion.

I am a great cook, although I don't do it professionally. I like to create great meals for family and friends. It's not a chore to me. It's a satisfaction that I bring to my loved ones.

So, as much as I pointing out the male position here, I am also calling for unity.

Nobody get's out of here alive!

While you are here, please....Make it better for your fellow human.

Am I asking too much?

I agree with you , Harpooner. I think it's total lack of respect. Myself...I know for a fact that these so called feminists want only to chastise men. What hypocrites...they think they are so smart and so self righteous. It's just a fact that I as a woman can not do certain things that a man can do. That's just peachy with me. I'm glad you can do it better. There are some things I do better as a woman. Respect, consideration, and caring go a long long way. My mom always called my dad her warrior. I always thought that was cool.

PS. I DO think men should have a day of celebration named after them. ☺

Hey....Kankune...
You know, I only wrote what I wrote as an example of liberal hypocrisy.
Yes, men do things women don't want to do, and, vice versa.
That is the nature of the sexes.
Why are some professions, or trades, dominated by men? Because they are brutal! Some things that need to be done in life are physical and risky. I think men, by nature, want to protect their women. I know I do.
And, I am not alone in this thinking.
Where do learn this respect and behavior?
From our parents.

I grew up in a, what was, a rural community. It is now a wealthy enclave, but, back in the 60's, it was very rural. The small school was right across the street. As a kid, my dogs would attend school as well as my older sister, younger sister and my younger brother. Yeah, it was that way. The dogs just couldn't stay home! They broke out of the yard and came to school.
Mom was a Nurse, Dad was a Physician. The many hours they worked and how they got us to our various activities amazes me to this day. I had sports, my sisters had sports, and my parents did it. I remember going on housecalls with my Dad, and he was taking all of us along....He had to...Mom was at the hospital.
I never knew if we were rich or poor. We always had food. And, I became the cook in the family. We're talking about 8 years old. Yeah.....
Mom was not a good cook....She will admit this...She didn't care so much....That's fine. She had a couple of good dishes.
But, she had a lot of cookbooks. So, I read them. Julia Child, mostly. So, I learned from scratch.

I made Baked Alaska at the age of 10.

From scratch.

I had freedom to do what I wanted. I wasn't told that "You are a boy...This is what you do..."
I was an All Star athlete, a professional ski racer, and have started and owned three businesses.

I have two daughters, and they are different people. One is very artistic, and the other is very athletic. But, I have only myself to be who I am.
My motto is " Don't sweat the petty things, and don't pet the sweaty things..."

In the early 70's, my father made a decision to join the Peace Corps. His business partner and friend had already moved to Sierra Leone as a civil engineer for water systems. So, we, as a family, went to Africa. Imagine parents with four kids on a journey. Yes, my dad arranged being out of school for a year, thinking we would learn just as much. Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Senegal.....
It was truly an adventure....We all survived!

Now, I look at this protest and say.....Look at yourself.

Look at yourself.

Look what you do for others.

Kankune....I wish you well.
