Reducing your cogent points to a "pissing contest" (unlike the admirable "pisser" comment) makes it easy to dismiss you. You took their bait to discredit yourself. When I first encountered you, my first thought was "No wonder Liberals have such a bad name here." This was before I read other posts by you. Their attacks on you personally are right. You act like a jerk. But you gave them that door. We need debate, not 12yo puffing.

It comes with the territory! I like to think of myself as a Gadfly! First of all if you are a liberal you have already been dismissed without saying a word. A Gadfly is a persistent irritant! He cannot be ignored! He is a pest and rightly so. He will not submit! Pesticides do not work! Insults are considered as compliments. Debates are a delusion. This is war! The child (me) is supposed to respond "Thank you for this very healthy dinner" but instead says "I h**e lima beans." (This was not happening down party lines.) "Put your jacket on, honey, it's chilly." "What's wrong with chilly? I like chilly. Chilly gets me going." Six years old and a "rip." Haven't changed much.

The motivation behind your insults and attacks on the Right is securely based, I feel, on protecting and upholding certain principles of liberty and e******y that you feel are being attacked or undermined by the Right. Yet not just in abstract ideals and concepts but in the reality of harm to this country and those you love. Why be cordial or decent? From all evidence, you choose to be boringly and adamantly hostile. A pest to be dismissed. Like a gnat. I see that you are far better than that. I have read other posts by you that are truly convincing and powerful. Be that! Get above the usual fray by being in the middle of it. Trading insults is childish and unproductive. My big head tells me I am here to disarm both sides. To stop the playground bully silliness of escalating insults: "No, you are!" "No, you are!"; "Did not!" "Did too!"

That's an interesting philosophy! I hope you can maintain it! LOL! You see the insults and ad-hominem attacks are diversions to keep from examining the facts. Facts are anathema here. The more you present them the more you will be ignored. Fortunately I'm a master at the insult game. It heightens my creativity. Their only recourse is have me booted off of this site by baiting me.
