Thank you! Onelostdog! That was truly The Greatest Generation. My Dad was a part of all that time period.

Your welcome sam and here is kinda a highlight that goes along with the original video sent to me concerning this B-29 I found interesting.


I think you will enjoy this !
I did a story on the restoration project when it first began back in the late 1990’s. That was before Boeing bought “Doc” from the amateur restorers and had it taken back to Wichita for restoration. “Doc” is the second flying B-29. “Fifi” was the only one flying until “Doc”’s restoration and she’s owned by the Confederate Air Force in Texas.

BTW the Confederate Air Force is now the Commemorative Air Force now. From a former Colonel.
