I was trying to apply for a grant the other day, and had to identify myself. I gave the clerk my ID, which is what you do, right? Well, the women looked at me and asked "are you Elli Gible?", I thought she was joking so I laughed and said "no, I'm not Elli Gible. Who is she?". After more paperwork, the women looked up and asked "are you Reggie Strated?". Now, I'm getting annoyed and I stated very clearly that I was NOT Reggie Strated, OR Elli Gible, and she damn well knew who I was - because she's got my ID right in front of her with a picture and everything!

I heard her mumble to a co-worker "he's Ira Scible". What the hell is wrong with these people? They've got my $@**& ID right in front of them and she thinks I'm someone named Ira Scible! So....I blew my stack and let her have it with both barrels. Even after all of that, she looks me right in my eye and says "you are Ian Sane!". I've never been more angry in my life! If they didn't want me to have the grant, just %@*^ say so and let that be that!

I took back my ID and went home. A little while later, the women's supervisor calls me, trying to explain that the problem was Ms. Communication. I said " I don't care what her &$@% name is, she needs to be fired - because she's nuts!"
