It is quite plain to those that study who the covenant is with. Not much of that is done in a lot of "Christian" churches.
The migrations of 10 Tribed Israel, during and after the Assyrian captivity is ignored also.

Revelation 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee

"So you are an Armstrongite or a Murryite? - amadjuster

I am not a:

Revelation 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee

So; Proverbs 18:7, which reads “The mouths of fools are their ruin; they trap themselves with their lips,

2 Cor. 4:3-4 - but if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Things to ponder:
Hosea 4:6 – My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge?
A Proverb – Where there is no vision, the people perish.

I would rather find out that you're smart instead of sweet.
Sweetness can be a bore.

My hero (and she puts her dainty hand to her brow and gently collapses into his strong arms).
You are very kind, dear, sir.

It was meant as an attempt to ease tension, a joke, but you are right, payne; however, not can be but is. Unlike the genuine sweetness of young children, in adults it is also something like a poison.
