“[Graham] has made disparaging and uncharitable remarks about Muslims and the L***Q+ community, while portraying the e******n, administration and policies of U.S. President Donald Trump as intrinsically aligned with the Christian church,” the letter says. “Such blending of politics and religion is dangerous.”

The letter was signed by Vancouver Catholic Archbishop Michael Miller, Vancouver-area Anglican Bishop Melissa Skelton and Ken Shigematsu, pastor at Vancouver’s Tenth Church, a popular megachurch for evangelicals. Shigematsu, who has cited Graham’s uncle Leighton Ford as his mentor, was on Graham’s festival committee before stepping down earlier this month.

“Franklin Graham’s advocating a ban on Muslims entering the United States is at odds with our church’s vision and ethos,” he wrote to festival organizers.

“The intent isn’t so much is to denounce Franklin Graham as a person, but it is to present a gospel that is more explicitly inclusive,” Shigematsu said in a phone call on Friday. “Christians shouldn’t be known for what we’re against but what we’re for.”

The move comes after Vancouver’s mayor and other city officials earlier this week asked festival organizers to drop Graham, though the group says the letter was in draft form.

The mayor is concerned about the “extraordinarily derogative” comments the pastor has made, especially after an attack on a Quebec City mosque, Councillor Tim Stevenson said, according to the Globe and Mail.

I have no Bible, read no Bible, attend no church, belong to no denomination but I think Canada's leaders are buckets of sleaze for treating Graham this way. HE is a wonderful man, a gentle man, a man of the cloth, a man who will never harm a single soul and he SHOULD speak about Islam, about Muslims invading our land, etc. These Muslims have been taught violence since birth and will NOT become American, will not follow American ways, and I find it amazing they want to come to America. They do not act as though they want to come here. EVERY AMERICAN has those rights. What the hell has happened to Canada?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Have they been drinking the wrong water, are they drunk, have they all become braindead? Deliver me from Canada.....I will NEVER go there, will NEVER do a single thing that may help them.

I'm sure the mayor is AFRAID he's going to get backlash. Which he will. Geeze, why don't these people have some backbone and quit cowering in their little safe spaces.

Catholics don't know the bible, as they have their own beliefs that don't match up at all with the GOSPEL.
Almost everything they teach is just their own version of t***h, and is actually sacrilege. I have been
delivered from romanism for 50 years now....J u b i l e e !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
