The "Emoluments Clause" in the Constitution has already been seriously violated by Trump, and one city has asked for impeachment proceedings

Trump talked with China's leader, Xi Jinping, and a short time later a case in China that was in court for close to a year involving a fight over "Trump" as a trademark was settled in his favor. Coincidence or a federal crime?

At issue is the “Emoluments Clause,” a previously little-known constitutional provision that says that U.S. presidents may not accept gifts or make a profit from any foreign state. Critics say the president’s many business holdings continue to benefit him directly, even as he has handed over the day-to-day operations of his businesses to his children.

“This is our voice, this is our country and we have a right to speak up,” said Councilwoman Gayle McLaughlin, the author of the resolution approved Tuesday. “We all have concerns about how we are moving forward in terms of upholding the sanctuary status we have…and the federal government trying to deny funding to cities that have such funding.”

Backers of the resolution point to Trump’s recent invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to Mar-a-Lago, his opulent country club in Palm Beach, Florida, as just one example of how the new president’s business interests often collide with his executive duties. Soon after Trump became president, membership fees to Mar-a-Lago doubled to $200,000 a year, according to news reports. [End]

We have no way of knowing the many ways or if any ways that Trump may profit directly by being president from his financial holdings. His refusal for a blind trust and to release his returns appears supremely suspicious. There may be nothing there, and I hope there isn't for this country's sake, yet his actions are cause for a lack of total trust in his decisions as president, which significantly weakens America. Hope Trump can wake up and do the right thing.

DD-Trump is already doing the right thing in spite of you left wingers . The v**ers rejected your corrupt candidate
and failed, antiquated policies which led America down the wrong path. Trump is changing all of that and within one year America will be on its way to the greatest recovery ever. No amount of moaning , whining, chastising, denigrating or outright lying will deter Trump from fulfilling the people's agenda. So, stop making a fool of
yourself and join in the recovery or sit the in corner and pout. America First !!!

Please explain. If you cannot explain, then you are not just a dimwit but also a hypocrite.
