It is hard to imagine any worse ambassador of Christ than that man. A modern Pharisee. He has made friends with the world and thus is at enmity with God. There is no mercy, justice, peace or love in his message. It is all about mortal safety--ergo, fear--than our immortal soul. He speaks to an earthly kingdom, not the kingdom of God. A political hack and a deceiver. If he was an adviser to Jesus back in that day, he would have told him not to use the h**ed Samaritan as a symbol of loving our neighbor. "Hey, Jesus, this guy is like a Muslim in the 21st Century. Ridiculous. Sad. No one will believe it. Go with a Baptist minister." Which destroys the whole point of the story.

The difference between the evil I do is that every day of my life I review each day and confess my sins and seek forgiveness. Every Christian commits sin every day. There are only two kinds of sinners those Christians who repent, seek help to amend their lives, confess and ask forgiveness. Then there are people who, through their own p***e and ignorance, never seek forgiveness. Where do you find yourself at the end of each day?
