Trump's adviser Steve Bannon: 'We're going to war in the South China Sea ... no doubt'
That is their answer to boosting our economy? Declare a war? Unfortunately, it's our sons and daughters who will be expected to die fighting it. People like Bannon, Ryan and Trump make sure their children will face combat in the bunkers of the nearest golf club. History has shown us that war is the refuge of poor and failed politicians. If the great negotiator gets us into a no win war with China then he is no negotiator. It has to be made concrete certain to Washington DC that we are not prepared to see our young sliced, diced, and julienned once again just to paper over economic disaster and make politicians feel powerful.
You know the US has become insane today when:
The answer to endless wars is more wars.
The answer to the police state is more tyranny.
The answer to a dead economy is starting a trade war.
The answer to regulations is more laws.
The answer to endless debt is more debt.
Thank goodness, some one with a brain!

Some questions for you.
Why do we have a military? What is the purpose of the military?
So, it is okay by you that China controls the sea lanes of the far east and Pacific Ocean? Think hard before you answer this one.
No one wants to go to war, but to be honest, sometimes it's necessary unless you are quite content having to speak another language and assimilate into a foreign culture. When I was in the Navy, we controlled the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans...we can no longer make that claim. It's fine to be a peacenik, but sometimes wars are necessary, and as long as they are not fought by the politicians (i.e., Vietnam) they're usually won, and fairly quickly.
We are at war numnut. But the invading armies are not storming our shores, they are climbing into our houses, businesses and government offices though the internet. The hacking of the DNC and the GOP is just the tip of the iceberg. If you have a toaster, refrigerator, laptop or PC then you have most likely been hacked. That they found nothing worth using or stealing is immaterial. One of the greatest fears of any business that has an R&D department isn't an employee walking out with designs or plans but of someone climbing into their files through the internet.
To keep spending money on military hardware that can't be test fired because the ordinance cost 1 million dollars a shell is ridiculous. Last year the pentagon wasted 231 million dollars in waste and fraud. That's your money and mine sunshine. Think on that when you are paying your taxes in April. Military waste and spending is truly a bipartisan issue as it costs Republican and Democrat wage earners equally. A classic way for a failed government administration to boost the economy is war. But that is usually a war when our children go to fight and their children are kept safely at home. We have lost too many brave young men and women to useless wars, why would you not fight back against another.

Numnut???? Hmmmm...I'm not even going to respond to your exaggerations and lies. You're delusional and totally ignorant of what the military is all about...it's purpose and mission. The rest of your delusional rant is just pure garbage...go back to school, only stay off the drugs this time. Have a nice day, moron.
The new and improved navy war ship cannot be tested because the shells cost over 1 million dollars each. That came directly from the Pentagon. And as far as the military is concerned, their high tech weaponry didn't prevent your special forces from having to be rescued by the SAS in Afghanistan when they couldn't take the altitude on the mountain they were supposed to be patrolling (that came first hand from one of the SAS that rescued them). The fact still remains that in today's world our military is a great big unnecessary money pit. Unless the design and construction of the military is changed it will be more of a liability than an asset to this nation and throwing more money at it won't change anything.

Blah, blah, blah....typical drivel from some one who is absolutely clueless about the military and it's purpose. Go bother some one else who is stupid enough to listen to your delusional rants. We're through...I know your kind, absolutely clueless.
BTW, did you ever serve in the military, and if so, what rank and capacity?
Don't you wish. There you go again, ranting off on a subject you have no information on, like you have inside information that you don't have. Typical Republican.

Aaaaahhhhh, now it comes out....you're just another clueless liberal l*****t. You still can't, or won't answer my questions, instead you just spew the typical clueless l*****t drivel. You get your news from the biased left f**e news sites, and have never served in the military, or even understand it's purpose or mission. You quote a couple stories of cost over runs and the cost of a military weapon munition, which was some what true, the cost is accurate, but it is not the only weapons on that ship...they will be corrected, replaced, or revised eventually. You swallow any biased left news story and conspiracy theory you read...pathetic. Like I said, have a nice day, moron.
There you go again. Firing off when you don't know what you are talking about. Just like your idol. I know about the military both in the US and the UK. Although I doubt that you do. The list of government contracts for weapons and equipment that were never used, or even worked, is legendary. The soldier on the ground does not always see or understand the waste, that's the prerogative of the upper ranks.

You know about the military????!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Don't make me laugh! You're clueless!!!! You don't jack s**t about the military...period. Get a life, moron.
Go bother someone else who is stupid or gullible enough to swallow your clueless drivel...we're done.
One wonders if US wars lead to terrorism, refugees, debt, and tyranny.
