I tried to respond to a post by "Cool Breeze"

I was denied, ignored.

The topic was " The Ninth Court of Appeals gives Trump a black eye".

Apparently, Cool doesn't like my opinions.

So, let me tell you about the 9th circuit court. It is the most overturned circuit in the nation. 75+ of their decisions have failed to pass.
And they have used judicial activism to overturn the will of the v**ers.

It's true, and I will cite one case.

Proposition 8 in California was about legalizing gay marriage. Overwhelmingly it was rejected.
However, a judge from the 9th circuit, who happens to be gay himself, ruled it invalid.
You can have your own thoughts about this....But, the proposition was put to the people, and they said no.

The judge denied the will of the people.

And this is California........

I am surprised that Cool Breeze doesn't like free speech.....Then again, liberals don't like free speech. They r**t when things don't go their way. The have to have safe spaces.....

Do you ever hear of a conservative crying for a safe space?
Have you ever?

Do conservatives r**t and destroy? You ever see that?

Hmmmmm........We are all created equal, but, I guess we think different.
Who's thinking is productive?

Now, I will not do an "Ignore" on Cool Breeze.

Sometimes I need some obtuse humor.....

Very reasonable post and I agree with your opinion on "ignore." "Do conservatives r**t and destroy?" That give me a good laugh. No, I have never seen that, even hard to imagine. But there is something else to consider. In general tendencies, liberals tend to loosen things up while conservatives tend to tighten things down, neither of which is wrong in and of itself; the motives at any given time for either tendency may be justified and Constitutional. Traditional marriage/gay marriage is a good for instance. When there is a movement to restrict what some have mistakenly or rightly taken as a liberty, such as a******n, usually it is led by conservatives. Maintaining the status quo is central to being conservative--again, in general terms and not as a hard and fast rule. Conservatives do back change but usually not radically but incrementally. In effect, then, the inclination to protest leans heavily in the direction of the liberal. Peaceful assembly, not r**ts, is our right as Americans.

As to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, being wrong even 99% of the time does not mean they are wrong in this situation, though any decision they made must, automatically, be suspect. Yet the legal debate seems split on one or two particulars that are complicated though not the Executive Order on the whole. And this all may be moot, in a way, because it appears the WH will rescind the order and re-draft another that will properly address those particulars I mentioned. The real main problem was the surprise of it, and I can see the rationale for "springing" it without notice so as not to warn in advance some undesirables.

The only other thing is for me, I like sources. I have absolutely no doubt that you posted a fair and t***hful account about that Circuit Court. However, supporting it with sites that can be verified goes a long way to making it substantive. With reliable evidence at hand it is hard to be refuted and is a shield against trolls.

No one tried to prevent Gays from living together. We simply had a problem with them calling it marriage. Marriage is defined as a union between a man and a woman. An institution ordained by God. They were offered something just as good, but they turned it down. It would have provided every right marriage does, but they had to call it marriage. They did it for no other reason than to attack Christian morals. You know. The ones this country was built on.

I was not arguing anything when I mentioned gays and marriage; it was just an example. I did not even hint in the most oblique way that anyone tried to "prevent Gays from living together."

Harpooner-you have to understand that to get to Cool Breeze you must first by approved by his handler-No Breeze.
No Breeze sometimes posts as Raylan, Dj Rich, Peter S., or Progressive One. Believe they are all brothers who are attempting to maintain a semblance of relevancy in a declining left wing agenda. lol America First !!!

I humbly accept this badge. I do it not for myself, but for justice and the rule of law. I don't hold myself out as a paragon of opinion, as, I accept anyone to disagree with me. I may say, " You are full of s**t.." on any topic...That is my right as a human.

I also know my responsibility is to know a thing or two about a subject before I post. I have never posted anything that was not factual. And, my interpretation of the gathered facts are based in logic.....Not emotion.

Being ignored by Cool Breeze shows a thing or two. One, cowardice. Two, he? She? is just doing hit and run posting.
Not adding to information or debate, they just post and run away.

As for me, I add links to articles when they are pertinent. But, I personally like to add my opinion to the subject matter after reading on the subject. I read enough to make a judgment on what is important to discuss.

I can bring verifiable facts anytime anyone wants as to what I post. I am not into lies or deceptions.

I have my Harpoon, and I use it when needed.

Thanks again for the Badge.
