California ready to begin secession attempt- Another attempt is underway to establish California as a separate nation.38gh.,b59
E******n officials announced Thursday that a proposal has been submitted to the Secretary of State’s Office that would ask v**ers to repeal part of the state constitution that declares California an inseparable part of the United States.
If the proposal qualifies for the b****t and is approved by v**ers, it could be a step to a future v**e on whether California should break away from the U.S.
Secretary of State Alex Padilla said the group behind the proposal, Yes California independence campaign, was cleared to begin attempting to collect nearly 600,000 v**er signatures needed to place the plan on the b****t.
Similar attempts to establish California as a nation, or break it into multiple states, have failed.
The e******n of President Donald Trump in November rekindled talk of California seceding from the union. The proposal makes no mention of Trump, who was trounced by Hillary Clinton in California by more than 4 million v**es.
The proposed constitutional amendment, titled California Nationhood, would also ask v**ers to repeal language that states the U.S. Constitution is the supreme law. If approved, it calls for scheduling a v**e in 2019 to ask v**ers, “Should California become a free, sovereign and independent country?”
Threats to secede from the United States have been a part of American politics almost since the nation was founded. The most serious attempt came before and during the Civil War, when 11 Southern states left to form the Confederacy.
Another hurdle would be the U.S. Constitution, which does not provide for state secession.
The campaign must submit the valid v**er signatures by July 25 to qualify for the November 2018 b****t.

Once one concedes that a single world government is not necessary, then where does one logically stop at the permissibility of separate states? If Canada and the United States can be separate nations without being denounced as in a state of impermissible ‘anarchy’, why may not the South secede from the United States? New York State from the Union? New York City from the state? Why may not Manhattan secede? Each neighbourhood? Each block? Each house? Each person?

They'll b***h and they'll moan, but they're not going anywhere.
Ultimately, some form of force protection will be nessesary, even though many of them think every outside country wants to be they're friend.
They would be a soft target, and a security risk for the rest of the country.
With exception to Mexico and Canada, I prefer to keep an ocean between us and anyone that is an actual real threat.

So you think a single world goverment is the way to go?
what happens when that single world goverment gets " too big for it's britches" like ours has?
Then what do you do?

Through an unwieldy combination of big government, big military, big business, big labor and big cities, we have created an unworkable mega-nation which defies central management and control. Not only is the United States too big, but it has also become too authoritarian and too undemocratic, and its states assume too little responsibility for the solution of their own social, economic, and political problems.
