I've bumped into that scripture recently that has always disturbed me - - - that there are some who will never believe, that there are some who will never come to the LIVING WATER.
So I think the loving thing to do is SHOW BY EXAMPLE. What a frustration ! !
I would love to knock heads. But thats not what we were told to do.

God wants you to CHOOSE to help. First tether your camel, then trust in God. CHOOSE to take responsibility. How can God help you if you just sit on your ass and think He's going to do all the work? That is infantile thinking. "MOM" is going to take care of things.

I have always believed that God had Gideon choose the "300" because they did not act like "beasts", who would "kneel" to drink the water, without using human methods of drinking, and therefore would not behave like "beasts" when they entered the city. (I thought it was Joshua; guess I was wrong about the commander!)
Maybe there is a similar verse in Joshua.
