President Trump and daughter goes to Dover, to be with the family for the return of Navy Seal, William Owens, remains. Navy Seal Owens is from Peoria, IL. Illinois is my home state also. Being there for those returning, who have made the supreme sacrifice, is a most solemn of occasions. Politics should never be a factor when a president of either party, presides at these sorrowful occasions.
Our former Democratic Governor, Patric Quinn, while governor, made it a point to appear at every service of a fallen Illinois soldier. When Governor Quinn entered the high school gym, where the service was being held for our grandson, no one cared what party Governor Quinn was affiliated with, he was there is what mattered.

I do. It was the six Navy Seals and he invited a muslim to pray.... I do not think any of the fallen were muslim (I could be wrong), but I do recall the family saying that the "prayer" damed their children. That was in May 2013... that was the last time that I remember.

Following Up: I Googled the question, did Obama ever attend the return of our fallen Military members. It appears that he did. However, one article claims he did so secretly, during one incident. Perhaps those with more questions should check Google for an answer.
