The Emperor has no clothes. Welcome to the Trump White House. Please, this is a true test of sanity so pause and consider: what is your opinion of "alternative facts"? How about winning "a landslide victory in the e*******l college" when his win was in the bottom fifth? Or claiming he won the popular v**e because an (impossible) 3 to 5 million v**ed illegally only for Hillary? How about all possible legitimate evidence of that day showing his crowd was not a record-breaker, as claimed but insisting it did over and over (and that lack of "record-breaking" also goes to all other manner of attendance, which was not part of Trump's dispute on numbers). What about hand-size? (Couldn't resist, sorry. One photo of it was reportedly photo-shopped to be larger.) What about gag-orders that were suddenly not gag-orders, despite memos in evidence that were meant by the WH to gag those agencies interaction with the public? Verbatim in memos:"do not interface with the public" was somehow misinterpreted by those numerous agencies to mean "do not interface with the public." The down the rabbit hole stuff with this president is endless. His instability and lack of restraint in tweeting early in the morning on any perceived slight or random thought he might have is malignant narcissism. He is a genuine loon, sorry. Wanted to give him a chance but he came out of the gate and ran bonkers. Predictions of impeachment for him are usually two years down the road. I say a minimum six months, and if he continues with these reckless executive orders and failure to divest himself of his financial holdings into a blind trust, maybe three months.

Excellent, thank you. Very thought provoking. And I agree with a lot of what he said, and watched all of it. I was raised in NYC much like him, but a Catholic liberal (small "l"). The video did nothing to help understand myself yet did much to understand some of the mistaken norms many Liberals (capital "L") have today. I am not an ideologue. I do not tow the party line. I could care less about the party line. I weigh each issue by its individual merits or faults. Or that is my intent. I am not claiming "immaculate perception." Of course I can be wrong and even very wrong in my view. But I attend to each topic from the same perspective: I am wrong. That is my starting point. I look first to find where and how I am wrong in my stance. If I am charged emotionally to lean one way or the other on a subject, that is conclusive evidence that I need to challenge that view, which can almost be presumed false by my attachment to it. That does not always prove true, of course. Rage over child abuse is the best example. It is a natural and just response. Nothing false there. Yet there is, and here is the d********g liberal (still small "l") in me: the perpetrator of such a heinous deed is still due justice and decency as a human. His or her actions are still evil and deplorable yet society must continue to treat that person as a human with rights.

What I liked about the video was the allusion to Lennon's song Imagine: "there is nothing to k**l or die for, no religion too." And then his attack on the thought of a Utopian Society. As he aptly pointed out, "no religion, philosophy, form of government" has stopped evil. Utopia is a dangerous illusion that keeps us from personally confronting the wrongs in our society.
