No, and no. We are not a 'nation of immigrants'. I was born here, as were the vast majority of those who live here. That makes us a nation of natives. Neither are we 'a nation of laws'. Our political system is based on a contract signed some 228 years ago by a few well-to-do residents of the time. The principles outlined in that contract form the basis of the political system prevailing today. Evidently, very few of those charged with the responsibility of making 'laws' have any regard for the original contract they take an oath to uphold and defend, or the government formed by it would be much smaller and far more responsive.

Nope, don't agree with that either. No doubt they compete with some who find themselves out of work, but no-one is displaced by an 'i*****l a***n' from his or her place of employment. As for 'imposing burdens on our taxpayers', how is that possible? Ask yourself, what would happen if some i*****l a***n showed up at an unemployment office and commenced demanding benefits with menaces? Complete codswallop.



If nobody's hiring, how are they making money? Why are they attracted when they have no prospect of gainful employment?



How were they getting benefits in the first place? By what law (nation of laws, remember) are i*****l a***ns entitled to any benefit for anything?



By creating a revolving door whereby they are deported, arrive at their home country, turn around and sneak across the border again, get deported again, and so on and so on and so on... Ad infinitum. I don't know who made these statements, but I agree with each one. We must be careful with who we let in our country. The times are not the same as when our Grandparents, or Great Grandparents came here. We must be vigilant and cautious with everyone who comes here, especially from the middle east. I also don't want my tax dollars going towards giving some i*****l i*******t free healthcare, when I have to pay a small fortune for mine between my monthly payments and co pays. Plus all the other freebies they get.
