Is Obama out to ruin our country?

Barack admitted as a candidate in 2008 pitching his so-called "g***n e****y" plan, "Under my plan...electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket." And for him and his Hollywood elite supporters, a rise in electricity rates are just a drop in the bucket.

But for millions of Americans, a ten, twenty or thirty percent increase in electricity costs are really a burden.

Now, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has been drafted as a taxpayer funded m*****a in what has become Barack Obama's "War on Coal." In fact, the EPA'S most recent regulations completely ban the building of new coal powered plants and factories. Yet, by the EPA'S own admission, these new regulations will not have even the slightest impact on the environment. But it sure will have a huge impact on our economy.

These regulations are projected to cost our country at least $21 billion a year. Jobs in the energy industry and in manufacturing will be destroyed or sent overseas. In an already unemployment rife economy, millions of Americans will be put out of work, and several states where coal mining is a way of life will see their economies in shambles. And beyond electricity, the cost of fuel and goods is bound to skyrocket as well.

What possible reason would the president have for sending hundreds of thousands more workers to the unemployment lines? Is it his aim to actually see our country fail?

Think about it!

That was his aim when he was "installed" as POTUS. He has also done a marvelous job with it.

As far as the EPA is concerned, abolish it along with the Dept. of Energy, Dept. of Education, and a few more.

You have hit the nail on the head. If America was a ship, he would be drilling hole's in the bottom of the hull. What really make me sick is so many people just can not see whet he is doing.

Good question. Here is the answer. YES..!! Obama is out to destroy our country. His mentor is Saul Alinsky. A radical c*******t who would love to see the destruction of America and capitalism. Another thought here is - where will all the electric cars be plugged in at if they succeed in shutting down all the coal fired power plants.? They never considered that one. It takes 10,000 wind turbines to produce (in a day) what 1 coal fired power plant produces in an hour. Also, for those who have not researched it or heard it, consumers pay those owners of the wind turbines for every hour they do not produce (no wind blowing) by higher rates for said electricity. See the links below for more info.

Here is the reason shy coal-fired plants are being phased out.
"Coal plants are one of the largest sources of man-made mercury pollution in the U.S. Every year 300,000 infants are born at risk for developmental defects because of their mother's exposure to toxic mercury pollution.

This toxic pollution causes serious health problems, including brain damage. Almost 2/3 of coal-fired plants lack the needed modern pollution controls to keep toxic air pollution, like mercury, acid gases and arsenic, out of our air and water. "
Quote from Sierra Club website
Do we really want all these toxins in the air and water?

Yes, he is not only trying to ruin this country, but also turn what is left of this country over to the illegal-aliens. He is a lying, back-stabbing t*****r who deserves to be impeached before he can do any more harm.

Hmmm. Missed your mark there. Coal fired power plants do NOT emit any MERCURY. If you knew your chemistry you'd know that. They emit 'sulfur dioxide' which in LARGE quantities causes 'acid rain'. and sulfur dioxide can be scrubbed out of the exhaust. But, go ahead and believe the SIERRA CLUB if you want. Where do you think they get their power to spread their insanity anyway..?? From coal fired power plants.! Hahahahahaha.!!

So far everybody feels like me. He said he was going to t***sform America, well he's done a good job of ruining America. He uses the bureaucracies to side step congress and use regulations to k**l jobs, coal, his enemies and anything else he sees that isn't in hid direct control. He's fired the high ranking officers in the military question his directions, much like Stalin did when he came into office. The only difference is that Stalin executed the dissidents in the Soviet Union.

We need to go through Washington and get rid of all the bureaus or at lest leave enough to be useful. The FBI has it's uses and so does the CIA. Though some need tighter control.

Repeal the 17th amendment and let the States appoint Senators, giving them back their sovereignty. The people are represented by the House the States need to be better represented. That way when a Senator doesn't v**e the way the State wants, they get recalled and replaced at once.

Obama is out to make the U.S. a third world country. It's been quite evident. He wouldn't make it happen if our senators and representatives would get off their dead ass and impeach him for tossing the constitution away.

After further research, it seems my answer was incomplete. According to the Union of Concerned Scientists an uncontrolled coal-fired power plant emits the following toxins: Sulfur dioxide, Nitrogen oxides, Particulate matter, and Mercury. Smaller amounts of Lead, Cadmium, carbon dioxide and other heavy metals are also emitted.

I don't think his goal is to destroy America. I think that it is to "rule" America. When so much "disaster" is created, we WOULD NEED a SAVIOR, one who could step in or up and cure everything by edict. We would need a dictator who KNOWS what to do. I think we have already seen our volunteer.

Maybe this time George III should be taken into cusdody and dealt with as a t*****r.
