This hawk attacked of of my sons ducks but made the classic chess blunder of attacking without checking to see if you are vulnerable. Another Hawk swooped down out of the sky and cold cocked him. The duck ran off and the two raptors had a rumble. This guy was the loser. he stood on the ground for about a half hour and appeared to be stunned. My son went out to take pictures of him and this was his threat display.

The first hawk was apparently intruding on the second ones turf because shortly after this picture the bird flew off to a nearby tree and never made it. The second hawk attacked again, knocking the first one out of the sky and finally chased him off out of sight.
