Ahh, the poor DoDo bird. Now there is a good comparison if you are talking about a strong defense. There he was minding his own business and then came humans and he was just food. I wonder if he was smart enough to apologize to humans for all of the harm bird kind ever did to people. I bet he was sorry for the arrogance his feathered brothers and sisters displayed towards others.

He just was not sorry enough before they threw him into the cook pot. Then he was sorry he had not spent more on defense and had become a hawk.

To get back to asses. One had the honor to carry Jesus. The asses here are busy carrying water for their Messiah.
