"There are going to be a lot of people on January 1st that will wake up and unknowingly be felons by the definition of the law,” says Wilson. “We want to make sure that people get this message loud and clear because we’re law abiding gun owners and we don’t want to give the other side any ammunition to use against us.”

"do not miss this deadline. “After that date anything that hasn’t been declared or registered is banned and if you get caught you’re going to get arrested,” Lawlor warns.

Do you actually think you can hide the fact that you might own a gun? If the government really wants to take your guns, it would be a simple task. So keep advertising the fact that will not give up your firearm so they know where to start.

I very much doubt that criminals will register their weapons. They have to be caught AFTER the commission of a crime and then they are rarely charged with weapons violations so, what's the point? I don't see one.

The last gun I purchased was shot and the round saved somewhere, like a fingerprint, thus registered, just like my car, my truck, my boat, motorcycles, so what's the problem with registration unless you are planning something illeagal.

So register your guns and clips, unless you plan to be a criminal. Or just a dope.

Many people drive over the speed limit or drive drunk, so what is the point of having speed limit laws or drunk driving laws?

So, me, a law abiding citizen MUST register my guns or be a felon. But felons need not worry about it because they might become what they already are, felons.
Yup! That makes a lot of sense to me.

Since most of the left wing nuts don't believe in the constitution anyway. Now they see they have zero rights to own a gun. The law is unconstitutional...

Are you saying that it will be a felony to not register your guns and clips,? If so I would recommend that you get to registering.

Really can you tell me where it is that people can't own a gun in the US because I live in Northern Minnesota and haven't heard about that law. Did John Boener bring it up for a v**e in Congress or are you just blowing smoke, like most right wing nuts.

Are you dumb or what, just try to buy a gun in NY, or NJ. If you knew anything you would know this is states passing laws that are unconstitutional. All these states are full your people, left wing fools.

I will look into it. We have a DFL governor, Mark Dayton, New Jersey has Chris Christy, a Republican the last I heard. NY has a DFL gov. but have had strong gun laws for many years, crime is way down in NY, might have something to do with the gun laws.

GA has issued more than 600,000 CCPs. There are about 4 million adults who qualify for one. GA has far less violent crime per capita than NJ, or NY. GA has very lenient gun laws, and far more gun owners. Also far less Liberals.
