Well we all know what type of organization GQ is but the final say is A&E so my thought is A&E needs to get out of reality, they can't take it.

I just heard on the radio that next season has already been taped and will be on A&E. By the end of the season, he will be forgiven as he will have learned his lesson. So it looks like A&E is not going to give up the money and the ratings they pull in.

Exactly. Spot on. Producers know why fans watch this reality show. This marketing opportunity allows them to wash their hands of the politically incorrect stuff while promoting the show and growing fan loyalty at the same time. I wonder if they have a long term contract because the Dynasty could balloon bigger than A&E and can choose the highest bidder. I guess there will be more politically incorrect lifestyles on reality tv due to the Duck Dynasty success.

It's nice to see comments from folks who understand. Both Mikki and Uncle Jesse nailed it. A&E has next season done and will milk it to rile up the audience and get even bigger ratings. Duck Dynasty thrives because it's politically incorrect all the time. And this latest controversy only increases interest and viewership.
