New man here...am looking for fair News Reporting Outlets. Very tough to find as it seems
personal opinion has overtaken basic objectivity...(am only interested in reading/hearing
the 'what' of what it is, what happened etc.)...any suggestions?

Welcome!! The Drudge Report has articles from left leaning reporters as well as right leaning. They report facts and therefore have been under fire by the left but I have found it to be one place you can find both sides. The left is currently trying to take the source down. Let's hope that doesn't succeed. Have fun.

Being new myself, I have to say personal opinion seems to be much more in evidence than hard news.

do a google search for right leaning, left leaning, factual news sources.. Look at each list and make your own choices..
