What's with the love fest going on between what little media I get and Obama

I don't pay to subscribe to television cable except Netflix so I don't get mainstream news. I do have my various online news sources, including Fox, to stay current. It seems like these last few days I'm seeing so much more coverage about how wonderful Obama has been. It almost rivals coverage of when he first won. It's effusive. I can't tune into any of my regular, decidedly non l*****t programming without, before long, being treated to a segment about how great Obama has been.
Let's see, tonight I was on one news channel and before long he came on reviewing the troops and giving a speech to the troops at some ceremony for Obama to receive an award. Ash Carter, the Secretary of Defense, presented him with the award.
So I flipped to another channel and before long, there was Obama at a BET concert at the White House where some rappers are singing high praises to Obama. (Rappers?) I thought back to what kind of performing artists Reagan invited to the White House. Of course he was almost three decades older than Obama but still. Rappers?.
So I flip the channel again and there's Michelle telling Oprah about how wonderful her post-White House life will be.
Then Obama's on another segment gushing over George Bush who he's invited to the White House for a love fest. What happened to the familiar refrain, "Bush's fault!" that we heard for many years after he became president?
So I flip the channel for the last time and soon enough there's Laura Bush and Michelle in a sit down chat. And then, a segment on Obama building a brick wall - around his newly acquired home in the DC area.
I can already see where this is going.
The left is intent on rewriting history and will whitewash the Obama presidency in ways that George Orwell could never imagine.
Obama, the great healer of the nation! How he cared for everyone. (Meanwhile I'm thinking just the opposite - how he went on his lavish vacations costing taxpayers many millions of dollars!)
He'll be inserting himself regularly into the news after Trump becomes president. Criticizing. And with the help and encouragement of a complicit media, we haven't seen the end of Obama by a long shot.
Funny thing, I never listened to him before. I would even go out of my way to change the channel whenever he came on. I got tired of being hectored to.
Now that he'll be out of official power, I don't think I'll scrupulously avoid him anymore. If only to see how out of touch from reality people can be.
