According to Trump, U.S. money spent will be for the "sake of speed". "The potential approach was disclosed Thursday by two congressional officials and a senior t***sition official with knowledge of the discussions; all spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly."

"[A]ll spoke on condition of anonymity". Oops, my BS meter just twitched...

Trump again: "The dishonest media does not report that any money spent on building the Great Wall (for sake of speed), will be paid back by Mexico later!" Yes, Donald, of course it will...

The Mexican government, of course, have categorically denied any chance that they will be persuaded to pay for this wall. Many times, in fact. Trump t***sition spokesman Sean Spicer said: "I think he's going to continue to talk to them (the Mexican government) about that." Whoa! BS meter coming to life now...

No matter what the wall costs, it will save money in the end. We support most of the i******s with taxpayer dollars.
I don't mind paying for the wall. I do mind paying for someone who is here illegally. In fact, I'm s**k of it.

Who cares what Mexico says? It can be deducted from the trade deficit. We could wall off all Mexico and California with lots to spare.

With the way Obama blows our money. ..at least we'll have a wall to show for this chunk and it will pay for itself fast by not causing us to provide for all those freeloaders.

Ah yes, but the Donald said he was going to make the Mexicans pay for the wall. Now it seems that story has been slightly altered in that the Mexicans won't play ball and the cost comes out of Congressional funding instead. See, he was so adamant that he can make the Mexicans pay for the wall during his campaign. He would be standing at the podium and yell 'who's paying for the wall?' and the crowd would shout 'Mexico!'. Now he's looking for alternate forms of funding.

Larry-in case you missed it, Trump specifically stated how Mexico will pay for the wall. It will be done by renegotiating trade agreements to eliminate a 58Billion dollar yearly trade deficit with Mexico. By leveling the playing field we would have an extra 58billion coming into the country. Lets tax that at the new 15% Corp tax rate and we have 8.7 billion with which to pay for the wall. Trump never intended for Mexico to write a check per se although some people have interpreted it that way. If Spicer said what you quoted without elaborating he is not up to speed on what his boss has said. Good Luck America !!!

It's all very simple, All the 'new' government has to do is to have a 'import tax' If you really try hard enough you can resolve issues confronting this "once great Nation" We just need a administration that has the "balls" to deal with the issues. Does Pres. Trump have what it takes ? Let us hope so....
