Donald Trump Makes Major ‘Wall’ Announcement, People Are Surprised

With only a few days before Donald Trump takes office, he is trying to do everything he can to get America on the right track.
Trump has made a request to the Department of Homeland Security, asking to review the assets available to build a wall as he promised during the campaign. Many believe Trump is making this request to assess the damage for any new immigration-related legislation to secure the border, as per Reuters.
Trump also had his team request information from DHS regarding the detention of i*****l i*******ts.
They also questioned DHS regarding whether the department has manipulated biographic information regarding i*****l i*******ts to potentially protect their liberties.
Trump made these requests at a December meeting between the t***sition team and the Obama administration. Through these meetings, Trump wants to gauge the strength of DHS’s potential for enforcement and decide which Obama executive orders need to be reversed.
DHS told Trump there are more than 400 miles of the border between Mexico and United States where a fence could be utilized for better border security. Though Trump’s main goal is to have a wall, he has said that he will accept a fence in certain areas. Certainly, a fence is better than nothing.
The department also identified 400 miles along the Canadian border where a fence could be used to protect the border. Although Trump has not stated whether or not he wants a wall on the Canadian border, it might not hurt. If the Mexican border is not available, drug traffickers and immigrants might try our northern border next.
Trump asked the t***sition team about Operation Phalanx, the aerial surveillance program which allows the Army National Guard airmen to monitor the Mexican border for drugs and i*****l i*******ts. The program now uses 1,200 airmen after being downsized by President Obama from 6,000 even though it had been effective, as previously reported by the Angry Patriot.
The team gave the Obama administration a request for all executive orders and p**********l directives sent to immigration officials since 2009. Here, Trump is trying to review all these horrible executive orders to make sure he undoes them when he gets into office.
One of the executive orders Trump wants to get rid of is the 2012 order that allows children of i*****l i*******ts to remain in the country to attend college and work. DACA, as the program is called, stores addresses that Trump can use to deport the i******s when he takes office.
Trump has asked DHS to provide a detailed breakdown of all border security so that he can have a good picture of just how bad border security is right now. He wants to make sure he addresses each inadequacy when he signs new immigration legislation.

In the weeks following the e******n of Donald Trump, the liberals would have you believe there is a growing movement against him. However, that isn’t true.
In actuality, Donald Trump’s approval is currently extremely high, and the reason for this is pretty simple. V**ers are hopeful for change, as per The Washington Examiner.
Although this was one of the most combative p**********l e******ns in recent history, the memory of it is beginning to fade. Trump is starting to settle into his t***sition policies and is picking leadership positions for his many cabinet roles.
According to a Pew Research Center poll, 96 percent of Trump supporters are “hopeful” and 74 percent are “proud” of their p**********l pick. Moreover, even Clinton supporters are slowly starting to come around.
Fifty-eight percent of Clinton v**ers said they are “willing to give him a chance to see how he governs.” This is definitely a good sign, showing that Donald Trump is actually uniting the country—though, the liberal media will never give him credit for it.
Finally, there are Donald Trump’s approval numbers, which have seen a positive swing since the race concluded.
When we were in the thick of the race, Trump was sitting at 37 percent approval and 61 percent disapproval. However, those numbers have changed now that he is the president-elect.
Donald Trump is now sitting even-steven at both 46 percent approval and disapproval – a 24 point swing since the e******n. This is definitely a heartening thing to see. Despite what the cry babies chant about in the streets, most Americans are willing to give the new president a chance.
“Trump’s favorability among v**ers has reached new highs since he became president-elect,” said Morning Consult co-founder and Chief Research Officer Kyle Dropp. “This honeymoon phase is common for new presidents. For example, Obama saw about a 20 point swing in his favor following the 2008 e******n.”
Of course, Trump is going to have his share of challenges going forward. While some have softened their views on him, those on the far-left unfortunately have not.
They will continue to attack both him and his political appointees. We have seen it already with Jeff Sessions and others. However, there is one way Trump can counter this.
If he continues to behave in the classy manner he has in private, people will begin to see his true character. As the left inevitably continues their attacks, it will increasingly only serve to make them look bad.
Those of us who have supported Trump from the beginning know this is a possibility because we have seen what type of solid leadership this man can deliver.
