I took her remark the way it was meant. I guess you are just having a bad day or something. That's OK, we all do. It is nice that you two worked it out so there are no hard feelings.
well I took it the same way she did
Thanks for caring. Auto complete has been my downfall. On the kindle or phone I can't see as I type and mistakes aren't noticed. Also- in the name of brevity, when texting cost money, people slaughtered grammar! IMHO. LMAO. etc etc. Speed too has sent all down hill. Instant messaging is as fast as speaking....almost. It's like spitting on your listener
Alex - you need some periods at the end of your sentences. Everything is running together and hard to read.
The word "too" means "also".
One posting used "thr". I am not sure if they meant "their, there, or they're".
I wish that many would quit using teenage lanuage, text language, appreviations, and initials. I personally think that we are all past sixth grade now. One should also try to use complete sentences as well. Someone else reading the post can misunderstand what is actually be said.
I, also, appreciate the instructions provided here as I do not understand how to do the smiley faces, etc. Our younger generation seems to be able to pick up this computer stuff easier than others.

yes teacher, but I'm going to report you to AuntiE for interfering with her job....... is that enough periods?
Good points with the exception of knowing the language of the young. I think that all parents and grandparents must learn the language. How else will you know if your loved one is heading off into the wrong direction. We need not use their language in conversations, but a good understanding could help if your loved one needs gentle guidance. ;) ;-)
Use of spell check also helps. You can turn it on under tools from the main menu. If anyone needs help in any computer related issues, send me a PM and I will do my best to help. I am or was a computer engineer....and have taught computer sk**ls.
MERRY CHIRSTMAS TO YOU ALSO!!!

Alex - I do not care if you report me to AuntiE or whoever. I am sure that she is not the only one that can/will inform others if something is wrong.
I, too, make mistakes and appreciate, without slurs, of what has been done incorrectly. Being corrected helps us to do better at a later time about anything.
Thank you, but I know that I will not ever be a teacher.
Anyway, MERRY CHRISTMAS

since the previous answer is the first time I have responded to one of your post when did I make said slurs?
Alex - I am sorry about the "slur" word to your post. You did not make any slurs in this post. Again, I am sorry for this comment made.
So many other people make ao many slurs toward many comments. And, I was not manking any in reference to you. I was referring that I make mistakes also and always try my best to never "slur" to anyone.
Thank you again for the correction made to me.
Merry Christmas, Ginny... and thanks for this post, stuff we all need to remember and keep forgetting or neglecting..

I am not looking for your job! Do not want it, I would fall on my face!! You can not be replaced and few can stand at your side....that is all I was saying....Honest!
Ginnyt, or anyone out there (Banjo, AuntiE) who can give me tips on the use of apostrophes, especially in case of possessiveness..I could use some help. I am always a bit uncertain! Example: Before or after the "s"..when or where. Also, in pluralities.
My pet peeve, if I may, is the lack pr capitalization of proper nouns. I am especially apalled at the lack of respect for our countrys' historical documents: The Constitution, Declaration of Independence, Bill of Rights, etc. Is it just my OCB kicking in?
