Where I come from a saying goes, "If you are ignorant or stupid, try not to show it." Palin is the biggest insult to humanity I have ever come across. She is not only ignorant but has been proven so in her many interviews giving others the right to smirk at her. And she doesn't have the brains to pick up on it!

How do you like her comments on Pope Francis one of which is that "not many people attend his masses in the 16th chapel." This is how far her intelligence goes. I question, "what ever happened to the 15th chapel?" Or, "I keep a menorah lit throughout the month of December to teach my children about the Jewish faith."

I wonder if the dumbing down in schools did not begin in Alaska for how smart are its citizens to have elected such a dumb ass. She is too stupid to have shame.

"Death panels " (misnomer) do not exist in order to do away with the elderly or terminally ill. This is an opportunity for the ill person to choose how they would wish to die. I would much rather die a week or so earlier than to be connected to a lot of machinery which will not cure but will prolong my physical life. I'd prefer to die with dignity. This is also part of a "living will." Too often the family will feel guilt over making such a decision.

I missed the comments she made about the Pope..Yes, she is one of my least favorite of all politicians..We have a clone in Minnesota named Bachmann...She is going away rather than face ongoing investigation..But the new person will be Republican for sure, the district is the strongest Republican in the state.. Actually there Are two boards that qualify as "death panels" One is the "cost-benifit" Board, and the other "profit Margin Board! The first doesn't have jurisdiction until the patient reaches 55, then the OBAMA APPOINTED SECRET Board, weighs the cost of keeping you alive against wh**ever life you have from that major cost! Terminal cancer patients, on life support, costing thousands a day, and only expected to live only a few weeks more? Against, a productive person, where the cancer treatment would allow him to return to work (and pay more taxes) This one was called an effiency committee in the first bill, And if the patient is deemed "not cost effective" then he can be refered to the third committee, for their "end of life counciling" (you are already elgible for that at 55) Lawyers not doctors! Helping you arrange your estate and burial arrangements. Hopefully avoiding the s**mmers preying on the elderly! The Second Appointed board (or committee) The Cost-Profit Board. Their job is to make sure that the insurance companies continue to make (absurd) profits! This one can ration healthcare to anyone they desire (conservatives?? We already have proof the democrats are doing that) This board cannot by law refuse any minorities, or Muslims, even though they are exempt from both paying and fines. So.....only working w****s can pay but not get healthcare! It is also setup so there is no appeal procedure! (sort of like "the no fly list"?) PAY thousands in premiums, receive nothing! All at the WHIM OF SECRET OBAMA APPOINTED BUREAUCRATS. Can you say "Czars" ??? All this was admitted, but the dems don't want to call it a "Death Panel" whats the difference? Like the wonderful sounding name "Affordable Healthcare" which is isn't either guarenteed or affordable! Just another progressive s**m! I passed 55 a long time ago! Several of us had possession of an origional copy of the bill, before it was amended with another 1000 pages! And it sidesteps regular law by setting up boards and empowering THEM to make more rules! Adding another thousand pages every month! And if you try to get copies of those rules..you are told that they aren't promulgulated yet! What I gave you was only an outline! The boards are expected to elaborate on that theme! And do you know exactly who has been appointed to each board? I think NOT! You are desperately trying to excuse your parties' criminal intent with this (Now) law! And You can only insult me because you know I am RIGHT!

They have been discussed on TV and Video, What is secret is WHO has been appointed! I challenge you to find out! As to the Muslim exception....The Whitehouse said it was against their religion to participate in INSURANCE! Do you want to deny the unions are exempt also? (but of course no exception was made for Catholics) The over 55 option for "end of life counciling was discussed by Pelosi, Again on TV! And in a "Town Hall Meeting". Did not intend to insult you. It is only that most of what you posted I have seen/heard refuted and I find that more believable by far than the version you posted.. With such a wordy bill, I can not claim that I am expert on it..With unbelievable bad beginning, I truly feel embarrassed for anyone who has to say they are connected to it..the end of life counseling I have gone thru and done my living will. common practice in Minnesota..I am still recovering from that little adventure. I got some replacement parts and fell better each day.. so the "death panels" always catch my eye...will be 71 next month..hope your reference to having only one year was not concerning your personal health.. I read most of your post and enjoy your contribution...I know we will never agree, but find what you say interesting.. You represent the reason I joined the forum, to get a different viewpoint then my own..Merry Christmas....
