I do not believe anyone is for zero regulation. That's a straw man if I ever saw one.

My point is you get your information from Comedians

I do. I regularly watch the Daily Show and the Colbert Report as well as Bill Maher on HBO. What's your point?

Often I do. I find political satirists often more dead-on than their strait-laced counterparts. Ever hear of Mark Twain??

Yes but it becomes problematic when you cannot separate fact from fiction.

Hear!...Hear!...It would behoove us to educate ourselves on the Socialist playbook in current effect.... redistribution of wealth ...education control....media...... and now healthcare! Some think that Marshal Law is down the road because.... "rule of Law" will not address the violations to our Constitution and Bill of Rights. A recent visit to my Doctor revealed his concern that he was ordered by Medicare & Medicaid that he will do this and do that!.... or lose his credentials!!!!!! Some have been already removed from participating HMOs because of their political views?

You really think we had racial harmony in America prior to Mr. Obama?

only in your dreams do I advocate what you believe I do , I love the form of government we have and it will correct the imbalances the conservatives have created in time , probably longer than I would like but we will get back to normal, and you will have more to squeal about

"Imbalances the conservatives have created"?
Have you been asleep for the last 6 years? Check to see if you have a long beard.
From Lorriek's blog:
Remember that quote, when our now president said on the campaign trail, “We are going to fundamentally change America.” When every word he uttered was greeted with shouts and cheers from the crowds who treated him like a rock star? Well, I wonder if his fans are still ready to cheer him on today and if so, why?

When he said fundamentally change America, did anyone have an idea of how radical that change was going to be? If not, you should have been. Your next clue should have been when he state, “We will change America, we will change the world” Arrogance? Maybe, but also someone with an agenda that does not include keeping America the way we know it. Or how about when he said, “We are not a Christian nation.” Did any of these statements not bother the American people and if it they did not, why?

Unfortunately, we seem to be dealing with a President who loves to hear himself speak and everytime he does so, we lose a little bit more of what makes this country great, freedom. Freedom to make choices, freedom to be the best that we can be and believe me, if he has his way, we won’t be the best country in the world, we will be just another failed, socialist driven country. So, I ask, why is it so hard for America to not see what is happening? If this president gets his way, capitalism will be a thing of the past. Hard work will be frowned upon and the unemployed will be taken care of by the government. Sound like paradise to anyone? If so, again, just look at any socialist country and see if you can find anyone proud of their country.

Good example, Brian. As good as Samuel Clemens, LOL.

I would suggest Will Rogers, also.

I have quoted them both, frequently.

What we have now is crony capitalism. Government and Big Business conversing to make life miserable for the middle class and poor folks of this great country. Both parties are responsible for causing the huge mess we are in. True capitalism is responsible for bringing many people out of poverty. Creating many good paying jobs and making economic conditions right for growth. This is what we had under Reagan and continued on through Clinton. Millions and millions of good jobs were created during these years. Growth has been stagnant the past several years due to government intervention in business. This did start at the end of Bush's term with the bailout of the automobile industry and The big banks. It continued on through with the stimulus of Obama and the QE of the fed. Don't fool yourself into thinking the worst is over. If we don't change these big spending ways of both parties, we will face a currency crisis in the near future. Many people think I am an i***t. That's fine. Every fiat currency that has ever existed has failed. It always starts with the debasement of their currency. This is exactly what the fed continues to do with all of the money printing. It will catch up to us sooner or latter.

A president who loves to hear himself speak??? Doesn't that pretty much describe most presidents???....with the exception of Calvin Coolidge and Woodrow Wilson after he had his stroke.

Oh, the government did...Yeah, right...

Products in the marketplace survive or fail due to use and usefulness. Just as you and I survive. I would love to have the girl of my dreams and just say to her, " I deserve you.." But, I am just a normal, average guy and I have to do a bit of work to get what I want... She might not like me anyway, so, I have to improve. In the end, I get what I get.
But, I work for something that I don't give up.
Change is coming. And, it's not liberalism..

I have often pondered the question of how on earth I have managed to succeed in life without the beneficence of the Government. Perhaps the Government did do it for me after all, unbeknownst to me. If this were true how may I repay it for my sustenance?

If it was poverty in which I was reared, and managed to survive, then yes, I desire more of it. It was good to/for me.
