Virtual reality technology will soon be so powerful that it will cause drug-like hallucinations, Microsoft has predicted. One of the tech firm’s top researchers said VR would be able to warp reality and catapult users into a new world.

Mar Gonzalez Franco, a researcher at Microsoft’s Redmond headquarters, said: “By 2027 we will have ubiquitous virtual reality systems that will provide such rich multisensorial experiences that will be capable of producing hallucinations which blend or alter perceived reality.
“Using this technology, humans will retrain, recalibrate and improve their perceptual systems.”
The technology will also be refined to incorporate “haptic” systems, which simulate touching or being touched.
Franco added: “In contrast to current virtual reality systems that only stimulate visual and auditory senses, in the future the experience will expand to other sensory modalities including tactile with haptic devices.”

The tech expert was speaking out as part of a project which quizzed Microsoft’s female employees about their predictions for the future. Most of them said artificial intelligence would play a greater role in our lives, bossing us about and saving us from making “sub optimal decisions”.
Nicole Immorlica, senior researcher, New England research lab, said: “By 2027, automation will give rise to a new economy in which most people’s societal contribution comes from the data they generate as they go about their lives rather than the work they do.”

While pre-trib, mid-trib, post-trib is not a salvation issue, please peruse this for a pre-trib-perspective. From my viewpoint, I have discovered that if you dig deeply, there are too many bible references, both Old Testament and New, to think that it won't be anything BUT pre-trib.

The tribulation is Satan's wrath (because he knows his time is short...which it is), not God's. The Bible says during the end times the antichrist will be given the power to wage war on the Saints and prevail. We don't see God's wrath until the battle of Armageddon.

We could go back and forth all day long about this. You have your view, I have mine. Like I said, this is NOT a salvation issue so let's just agree to disagree...agreeably. The MOST important thing is that by openly declaring with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believing in our hearts that God raised him from the dead we have been saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved (Romans 10:9-10).

We recently had the Four Blood Moon voodoo on Revelation that amounted to zero. We had two patrons airing shows that had cancelled over it and now renewed, giving shows at least a month in advance. Total nonsense. Be in the moment as salt and light and forget about the rest. It is an utter silliness. Just be Christian. Love your enemy and neighbor and God. These predictions about the End Times have happened for all time going back to 45AD. Macys for many Christians was the sign of a New World Order. This thread about the mark of the beast is totally ridiculous, sorry

Read further in the Bible and there is nothing suggesting an End Tines. God changed his mind 39 times in the OT; once in the NT will be in keeping with his mercy.

That is too bizarre and unseemly of God. The humans that the father consigned us to love, even our enemies, and we get the first ticket out of Dodge deserting them? Flies in the face of Christian love. Pre-trib is about as ugly as you can get for a hedonist, but a Christian? God's wrath comes AFTER the tribulation. The tribulation is all about Satan. God will not share His time with Satan.
I see the tribulation as an 'edification' period. Many will succumb rather than suffer...and we are appointed to suffer, as Christ suffered. "Forgive them Father". We are not however appointed to God's wrath.

No time of trouble, no tribulation? What did you write your thesis on?-How to be brain dead and still manage to inhale and exhale involuntarily ? There is a place of safety-Rev. 12:14. A time of trouble-Matt. 24:21,22. Read Ez. chapter 5,chapter 7,chapter 16.Jer. chapter 30. Rev. chapter 13. Just to name a few. There are two witnesses who will soon be sent to warn- Rev. chapter 11. Aside from GOD'S t***h there is only a perceived reality; you think and say what you have been programed to do. The best place to receive this programing is in public education. In college they pass out various degrees of false reality.
