Is it just st me, an able-bodied 75 yr old, (retired) or are there just too many people on government assistance and disability! ???

I know an obese woman with multi children with different fathers and she gets complete financial care.... even home health care and housekeeping..... and $$$ far more than my "retirement" check......plus handouts (from charaties) that she gives away ..... FREE cell phones with unlimited text and calls for her and every child..... some of which I happen to know are her sisters kids..... and free medical for everyone..... and free RVERYTHING. THE teenagers even have cars..... uninsured of course.... but she is "disabled" only because she is too FAT. And (btw) drinks heavily! She passes out on the Kansas tchrn floor every night.... too drunk on wine.....and high on "RX pain pills, to get her self to bed!!!! Her wine bill alone is over 100$ a week!!

We just HAVE-TO get this stopped!!

This is just one case I've described. I know of several (personally). Some even worse (in some ways) than this one I described briefly!!

Well, it didn't help any when Obama lifted the work requirement from welfare and food stamps. Remember, it is the goal of the Democrats to build a massive entitlement class that is dependent on the government, then they own their v**e.

SS and Medicare have an unfunded liability of up around 28 trillion dollars because we're living longer and getting far more benefits than we ever paid into the system. I read somewhere that the average SS recipient who has collected benefits for something like 7-1/2 years, has drawn out everything they ever paid in plus interest. Medicare is even worse.

Always remember that when it comes to money received from the government SS program, that that money is worth much less than when it was confiscated from you by the government. When I first had SS taken from me, youi could buy a Good quality cheesburger for 25 cents, a Restaurant meal was $4 to $7 , and Gas was 26cents a gallon. I figure that if I lived to be 100 years old, I would not get the value of all my "contributions" back. (I retired at age 70)

I work in a grocery store so I see this all the time. Woman drives up in her $40,000 car or suv, grabs a cart. Cart is pretty full by the time she is done shopping. Starts through checkout placing T-bone steaks, rib roast and other high cost cuts of meat. Need potatoes to go with the steak, not the $1.00 five pound bag of white ones but the cute small ones at $7.00 two pound bag, veggies, not the cheap frozen store brand, must have the high cost Green Giant, Birdseye or some other expensive brand. Need something to drink with all that, expensive brands of juice, milk, not the cheap store brand, soda pop, again not store brand. Now for dessert, Marie Calander pie or pastries, lets get some candy. Whips out the food stamp card and runs it. Snap card does't have enough on it to cover the $250 of groceries, no problem, digs into her purse and pulls out a $100 bill to cover the rest of it. I work 40 hours a week and can't afford to eat like that, there must be something wrong with this picture?
