Forest fires are necessary for new growth. The problem is not forest fires caused by nature, the problem is too many people and to few natural resources. Nature doesn't pump all that poison into the air, waters and soil, we do!! Trump is the guy that wants to increase coal production and has appointed the worst possible choice to watch over the natural resources of our blessed land.

I have believed for a very long time that California forest fires became so serious because of liberal laws their legislature passes concerning cleaning out dead undergrowth. My son has been a volunteer firefighter here in our grass lands for a number of years and all the people he works with thing that when our prairie fires get into uncleaned gorges, etc they become serious. Of course, they don't like the laws of California that hold their fire fighters back from cleaning up those messes.

Now the Californians that pass those laws are largely as left leaning as our C*******t friend here.

I agree with your sentiments but let us see. Trump said many times he wanted to shred a lot of what the EPD
has complied over the last several years that drastically limit land owner rights such as water sheds. They have
over stepped what they were originally chartered to do far far to many times. Trump nor his appointee have said
anything that has sounded anti natural limits on anything. Lets wait and see. I'll be watching the EPA for certain.
That's been the real culprit over the years. Unless you believe in Jack Booted Brown Shirts in total control of
private land use.

Dept of Interior , the parent outfit has done the same to small farming operations. Time to declaw them .
That's another one I'd watch. Again let us see. Not to worry though. States still have much power such
as Mexifornia and their central state minnow population protections. lol

Too many people? If you assigned every human being on earth---all 7 billion of us---3 square feet of space, we'd all fit comfortably in the state of Delaware. The earth has an abundance of natural resources, the problem is the f*cking liberal No Growth Movement has passed so many laws and issued so many regulations against tapping into those resources. The earth does replenish itself, ya know.
