I went to viet nam in 1963 as an advisor to there military at their request. At that time there were 5000 total US military in that country. I went back in 1969 and there were 500,000 US military to include the US navy, Now what party do you think did this build up and also wanted us to fight this war from Washington,DC.?

Bernie Sanders and I were opposed to the war. All conservatives were for supporting a puppet gummint set up by the French Foreign Legion with opposition from over 80% of Vietnamese according to President Eisenhower in his memoir: "Mandate for Change".
