Just wanted to give my thanks to the veterans out there--especially those of WWII who really did save us from tyranny. Thanks guys, we owe you more than we could ever say...

back then there was a thing called patriotism
99 out of 100 had it
I entered the Navy at 16 years of age
had to get Mom to swear to it
though she fought hard to keep from doing it
was out of the Navy at age 20
I have never regretted my decision to volunteer
As far as thanks---I need no thanks
It was my patriotic duty
to serve my country

Appreciate that, Pete. I served in the Navy, but of course that was long after Pearl Harbor. My avatar is my rank and rate.

Well said... These guys had good days that were worse than anything I've imagined. The heroism and honor of these people is just awe inspiring.
US Army, 65-71. I thank ALL who served for their service, regardless of the branch...just thinkin'

US Army,1955 to 1975, and obozo said for everyone to get over the bombing of Pearl harbor,all I have to say to obozo is " GO FUCK YOURSELF,YOU KENYAN BASTARD" My uncle died at Pearl Harbor.
