Today is National Cookie Day. I have polished my silver service, contacted the pastry shop and now. ....

A cookie event.

PS: I expect appropriate attire for a Sunday afternoon tea and cookie event.

Looks kinda foo foo but I would eat a cookie. Are sweat pants, and my Ravens t shirt appropriate? I will remove the spurs from my boots as a concession.

SWMBO and I have gotten dressed for the event, I have on my suit, which is a little tight around the gut, and SWMBO has on a purple pant suit which still fits her, though it is ten years old. We are ready for tea and cookies. Thank you AuntiE.

Myyyyyy.... looks delicious!! Thank you, AuntiE. 😋😋

I needed a reason to leave on my church clothes.

Oh, and if anyone has a Whole Foods near them....

To celebrate National Cookie Day, Whole Foods locations around the country are selling freshly baked chocolate chip cookies at the special price of 25¢ each now through Tuesday, Dec. 6. (Note: There’s a limit of three 25¢ cookies per customer.) (sorry Slatt)

Your Ravens shirt, as you know, is approved. Please find a clean pair of jeans, at least.

The staff set aside a small container for you to take some home for the gremlins.

Your attire looks quite nice.

No exceptions. Go out on some slacks and a shirt.

Grab some cookies before he shows up, though there are extras hidden away.

I'ma wearing my bibbed, striped denim overalls...as I remember how much the mentioning of them intrigued you. I am also bringing a take-home bag for later snacking.

Jeans? Alright.😩 I have a clean pair ironed, and starched. I'll put them on in spite of the fact that they have shrunk and it is a challenge to button them. I'll also wear the belt for appearance sake. I'll also wear a nice vest with pockets.
Since I'm getting all gussied up, should I wear a tie?

A tie is unnecessary. Your effort in upgrading your attire is appreciated.

You best get a handful of cookies before you know who shows up.

Leave my event until you have appropriate approved Sunday event attire on. Archie made an effort.

Get your grubby hands off those cookies.
