CNN has issued an apology after a tape was leaked where one of its producers can be heard joking about President-elect Donald Trump's plane crashing.Business Insider reports that the incident occurred on Thursday as national correspondent Suzanne Malveaux was getting ready to broadcast live from the Carrier plant in Indiana.A video posted to YouTube by FTVLive's Scott Jones shows Malveaux on screen and an off-camera voice telling her that Trump is expected to be "landing any minute."The unidentified woman then indicates signals she plans to use to communicate his progress and jokes at one point, "That means his plane's crashed."But she quickly states, "No, I'm kidding."Malveaux can be seen responding with a shocked look before smiling.
As a result of this exchange, CNN has released a statement saying, "An unfortunate and inappropriate remark was made by one of our producers off camera yesterday. We have apologized to the Trump t***sition team, and the producer has been disciplined."


Fox News pulled a stunt like this, joking about Obama’s or Hillary’s plane crashing. Liberal heads would be exploding all over the country.

Great timing. One of the nastier trolls on OPP just put up a thread about Trump and the 1st Ammendemant. I didn't read it because the poster is a notorious liar and cherry picker. I'm sure the article must be about Trumps war with the press, hence his diss of the 1st ammendemant. We know it's BS because the press is no longer the press of old. CNN is just another branch of the Democratic Party. The press is now distrusted almost as much as politicians.

Jim-there is apparently no end to which liberals will go to avenge the serious butt kicking that their corrupt candidate received from the more astute v**ers in our country. I saw the same thread about which amendment Trump h**es worst. These people are seriously demented and see themselves in the minority for years to come once Trump implements his agenda. The only thing left for them to do is lash out at whomever is not on their losing side. I choose to ignore most of them and I manage to find a dig or two for those to whom I reply. Agree that most of the news outlets except Fox have been in the tank for democrats for decades and their objectivity has long been gone. The same can be said for print media which has been and continues to be left wing. Maybe Trump will have to come up with a new network to complement Fox. How about a White House Press Corps consisting of Fox and the BBC ? lol Good Luck America !!!
