Simply put: I h**e the "gridlock" that exists, primarily due to the int***sigency of both parties, and the branches of government. All seem to be "me" or "us", first, and the country & citizenry, second! :hunf:

Amen to that. The other thing is that they ALL took the same oath of office as each other and yet they look like they all came from some different country with a different agenda. They all swore an oath to UPHOLD the constitution of the United States Of America against ALL enemies both foreign and domestic. Maybe they should ALL go through a constitution course so that they know what it is that they are defending and then maybe they can get on the same page and support their constituents in back home and leave their personal agendas for a later time. Right now we have more enemies of the constitution in office here in the US than in foreign countries.

As for your earlier post, the wife has noticed I've been more easily agitated over the past few weeks. I think it maybe associated with this site as well, wether it's from how even more pissed it makes me at the gov or the negativity by some of the posters I don't know.

What do I h**e, that things like Obama care were sold to us as one thing and turned out to be quite a bit different than advertised.

That special interest groups and their political contributions have too much say in the outcome of legislation.

The administration has and will continue to sidestep congress to get its agenda's enacted and enforced.

Federal government usurping states rights.

And the constant attack on our constitutional rights, of privacy, gun control, religion, free speech etc etc etc.

Crony capitalism is my primary gripe but then there is the willy nilly gifting of taxpayer funds to prop up third world dictators and middle eastern mullahs, along with the blatant corruption involved in grants and research projects,etc.....dadgumit you got me started....

I dislike the acerbic rhetoric and unwillingness of people to listen to the opposition and the distain a lot have for those who are concerned with real governance as their first priority not acquisition of political power

Somebody must have said, “Nothing good comes from hatred.” “H**e within will eventually destroy the h**er.” Here are a mixture of quotes about h**e.

1 John 2:11 But whoever h**es his brother is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer- God's t***h judges created things out of love, and Satan's t***h judges them out of envy and hatred

Leviticus 19:17 “You shall not h**e your brother in your heart, but you shall reason frankly with your neighbor, lest you incur sin because of him.

John Steinbeck “Try to understand men. If you understand each other you will be kind to each other. Knowing a man well never leads to h**e and almost always leads to love.”

Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

Bertrand Russell - Contempt for happiness is usually contempt for other people's happiness, and is an elegant disguise for hatred of the human race.

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe- Hatred is something peculiar. You will always find it strongest and most violent where there is the lowest degree of culture.

Proverbs 20:22 Do not say, “I will repay evil”; wait for the Lord, and he will deliver you.

Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.

1 John 3:13-15 Do not be surprised, brothers, that the world h**es you. We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. Whoever does not love abides in death. Everyone who h**es his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

Helpguide.org – Why learning to control your anger is important

“You might think that venting your anger is healthy, that the people around you are too sensitive, that your anger is justified, or that you need to show your fury to get respect. But the t***h is that anger is much more likely to damage your relationships, impair your judgment, get in the way of success, and have a negative impact on the way people see you.
Out-of-control anger hurts your physical health. Constantly operating at high levels of stress and tension is bad for your health. Chronic anger makes you more susceptible to heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol levels, a weakened i****e s****m, insomnia, and high blood pressure.
Out-of-control anger hurts your mental health. Chronic anger consumes huge amounts of mental energy and clouds your thinking, making it harder to concentrate, see the bigger picture, and enjoy life. It can also lead to stress, depression, and other mental health problems.
Out-of-control anger hurts your career. Constructive criticism, creative differences, and heated debate can be healthy. But lashing out only alienates your colleagues, supervisors, or clients and erodes their respect. What’s more, a bad reputation can follow you wherever you go, making it harder and harder to get ahead.
Out-of-control anger hurts your relationships with others. It causes lasting scars in the people you love most and gets in the way of your friendships and work relationships. Chronic, intense anger makes it hard for others to trust you, speak honestly, or feel comfortable—they never know what is going to set you off or what you will do. Explosive anger is especially damaging to children.”

I h**e a******n. I h**e deficit spending by the government. However, it seems the only platform the GOP has right now has H**E. We h**e Obamacare. That is all my fellow Republicans and Republican representatives talk about. My experience is that h**e eventually destroys the h**er rather than the h**ed. Nothing I can do to change it though. Sad.

Unfortunately, we have all been guilty of one form of hatred or another, throughout our lives.

My favorite bumper sticker of all-time? The one I saw that read: "I used to get angry...now, I'm only amused!"
