Here we are again~
Chptr 12 begins with an overview of the Virgin Mary, her lineage with Israel and their Holy ceremonies under the new and full moons, as well as her crown showing the twelve tribes of Israel.
The Virgin Mary is giving birth to Jesus Christ. The Great Red D**gon is old king Herod the Great, who sent soldiers out to k**l all the male children hoping one of them would be the child Jesus.
The clue there as far as the Great Red D**gon is the word "Red." Esau, the older twin to Jacob, was born Red and Hairy all over his body. As Esau grew he had no regard for God and eventually plotted to k**l his brother Jacob.
So, God stated that he H**ed Esau. Genesis 25:25, 27:41. Malachi 1:3, Romans 9:13.

There is a very brief summary of Jesus Christ who was crucified and rose into Heaven. The description of the rule with a rod iron is coming in just a few more chapters.

Michael was a prince in the line of King David, Jesus lineage. During the rebuilding of the temple, Nehemia is Michael's ancestor. In the Holy Bible, mainly OT, a son will be recognized by the name of his Father. Nehemia contended with Sanballat, the governor of the land of Israel that was put in place by the Persian King while Israel was in captivity. Sanballat's armies were the Ammonites, Arabs, and other eastern peoples. Sanballat himself was a Moabite/Horite mix. Sanballat and his people had attempted to murder Nehemia, and had placed one of their own evil men inside the very temple of God to be a Priest. Nehemia threw him out.
Then once again, in 70 ad, all Israel was made to leave Jerusalem. Nehemia's contending with Satan (his name derived from the letters in Sanballat), and Nehemia throwing him out of the newly rebuilt temple is written of in the short books of Ezra, and Nehemia.
The Devil, or Satan, never ceased to persecute Israel. The Serpent casting our a flood, is the ancient Germanic peoples that had come down from across the Rhine River, and the Euphrates River, making war on everyone. The earth opened her mouth by absorbing the Germanic tribes into the Roman, English, and French peoples. Much of the European and Latin peoples have German mixed in their ancestries.
The spirit of evil, the devil, goes out into the world to make war.

Chptr 13."1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy." Revelation 13:1

The sand of the sea, tells us that this is the other children of Abraham. The Ishmaelites, and the Midianites, having combined under Muhammad and Islam.
Ismael, plus the six son's of Keturah make Seven. Not a pure Seven though in biology. The ten horns are the first 10 sultans of Islam, just before the rise of the Ottoman Empire, which actually stood for 600 yrs.

From the Roman Empire, which had the wound to his Head but was healed, came the Holy Roman Empire.
The Ottoman Turkish Empire- Islam, and the Holy Roman Empire both had Religious and Governmental power over the peoples of the Lands. The Jews having been driven into these lands as well.
The Orthodox Church however is being described as "Like- a lamb (but not), having two horns, yet speaks like a serpent."
Remember!! This is a vision given to John, not even in the 100th century AD yet, and is Prophecy!
What John is describing is a Papal crown, the side view - as in "profiling" to us-ward. The very ancient Churches had been, what we call, molesting children for many centuries. It didn't just begin in our time. During the Roman Empire, the Higher Ranking Romans had what was called "house-boys". That continued through the ages. When the Papal crown is sideways, it appears as two horns.
The image to the beast was an ancient Pope that Crown Charlemagn as the last Roman Emperer. There wasn't a Roman Empire left, but the Pope did this anyway.

The fire coming down from Heaven is an ancient practice of the Orthodox Church that lasted a whole millennium. A Priest decked out in white robes, papal crown, and much gold jewelry and pomp, would enter into the tomb of Christ with unlit candles. The people were told that if they had been good that the candles would be lit by fire from Heaven inside Christ's tomb. The priest always emerged, having been completely concealed within the tomb, with lit candles. The fire from his candles would be passed around until everyone there had a lit candle from Heaven.
The very next verse from this states:
"14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power (self appointed power) to do in the sight of the beast....... Rev.13:14.

The last verse is of the "Mark of the Beast." In Genesis, as God sent Cain (who murdered his brother Able) out from the land of Eden, he simply "sets- a mark upon him" Genesis 4:15. God does not say "put a mark on him, he directly said "SET." This is to mean: a set time. A time when all of Israels sins, All Sin, would be purged on the innocent man, Jesus Christ, for repentance and pardon. Then, the Mark would surface at a time where all mankind would 'know' the Majestic, Omnipatent, T***h of God Eternal, to his promises of Good, or to evil, as he so Judges us.
In the Death Camps of WWII, Hitler had elite men that ran them. They were given to wear a deaths head 'skull' on their military hats, just above the brim, sitting upon their "foreheads." They were also given the deaths head 'skull' ring to wear on their "hand."
When Jesus Christ was crucified by the Romans, where his death had been manipulated by the evil Priests of Jerusalem's temple, it was carried out on mount Calvary. In the Greek, it is called mount Golgatha: The Place of the 'Skull.'

The book of Job is the overall description of the Holocaust (which means 'burnt by fire'). The mindset of his friends at that time is given chapter by chapter, incase you want to know what Islam is all about, originally. Jobs friends are given an accounting as to who they are, from what peoples, and their perverted understanding of God. Once again, they are now Islam, and the war on faith we fight today.

The book of Lamentations is the prophecy of Israels cries and torment, plus their physical appearance as they are under WWII's captivity. Their Trial before God, in great Tribulation.

You might also note that in the book of Numbers, you will read of all the 'many' times Israel turned against Moses and God, to preparing to stone Moses at one point.

If you want to write about the writing of someone else, you have to have a point, a position, a theme, or some reason for writing. To just repeat what someone else wrote in your own words is of little value.

What is your point?

I've no comment for you, as you have absolutely your own agenda going on within you that limits your ability to see God's Word in it's fullness. Scripture has no depth for people that are stuck in their own unresolved issues. Seems to revolve around them and only them. Are you Roman Catholic or something like that?? Your previous strictness to some scripture, and laxness on others supports this, if it's so.

What laxness are you referring to? Show me a scripture, and I will adhere to it strictly.

Better yet, What does this scripture mean to you?

"22 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open." Isaiah 22:22

Shebna (Hebrew: , Modern Shevna Tiberian Šeḇnā ; "tender youth") was "treasurer over the house" (meaning comptroller or governor of the palace) in the reign of king Hezekiah of Judah, according to the Old Testament.
Because of his p***e he was ejected from his office, and replaced by Eliakim the son of Hilkiah as recorded in Isaiah 22:15-25. Shebna also appears to have been the leader of the party who favored an alliance with Egypt against Assyria.

This passage reminds us that God is in control of everything, and though it might seem as if wicked men will never be removed, He can bring them down in a moment and replace them with His good and faithful servants. This was what happened in Judah. A wicked man was removed from office and a man after God’s own heart was put in his place. We need never fear that p***eful men will truly succeed in their quests for power, for the Lord will judge them for their crimes.

That is an awesome understanding JR, I really like it.
The understanding of the scripture quote I gave you is that Jesus Christ is the Root, and Offspring, of the lineage of King David.
Jesus Christ had that "Key" put upon his shoulder during his trial to his crucifixion. The Cross. The Cross is the simplist form of a Key there is, if you will look at the Cross in this way. It is the Key that in faith sits within our hearts professing that we believe Jesus Christ died for our sins, and is our Savior, the Son of God. It is the Key that unlocks our heart and soul, opening it to the Spirit of God to work his wonders and miracles within us.
It is the Key in to Heaven, the Key of life, as well as the Key of death if it is not there at the end of our lives. Matthew 16:19, Revelation 1:18.

(Jesus gave to Peter the "binding" of the New Testament Books. All the Apostles, Evangelists, and Paul, had to go to Peter with their epistles, writings, and letters, and give them to him for this purpose. That which Peter bound together, was bound in Heaven as the teachings of Jesus Christ into Eternal Heaven. That which Peter saw as not a requirement for Spiritual Heaven, he left out, or loosed, from the NT Bible. This is in Matthew 16:19 as well. )

I don't believe in adding to what is written in the Bible. All that invented understanding about the cross being a key, is made up and appeals to the emotions, and as far as I am concerned is from the devil. The devil uses human emotions to lead people astray. He appeals to their sense of right and fairness, like he did to Eve in the garden when he said, "Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?” . . . 4 The serpent said to the woman, “You surely will not die! 5 For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

You see God said, "from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, ‘You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.’ But the devil appealed to her emotions and sense of fairness and how much God loved her to lead her astray.

For that reason I avoid mushy sentimental teaching like you gave about the key and the Cross of Christ.

Isaiah 22:22 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
23 And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house.
24 And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of f**gons.
25 In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for the LORD hath spoken it.

The Key into Heaven, Jesus' Cross of his Crucifixion, the one he was nailed to for Israel's and all elses sins.
Israel didn't want it, sounds to me like you don't either. From Jesus Christ's great sacrifice, his Crucifixion, there is no more curse of Death- meaning having to slumber in your grave for millenniums on end waiting for the resurrection.

Eve, she was tempted, and not mature enough to make the "Right Choice." She was still very niave, her and Adam both having had no associations with anyone outside the Garden. Cain was the first to met other people in another land, "Nod", and took a wife from there.

Eve's sin was simply having "made the wrong choice." So have at it JR

Isaiah 22:22 And the key of the house of David wil... (show quote)

19 “I will depose you from your office,
And I will pull you down from your station.
20 “Then it will come about in that day,
That I will summon My servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah,
21 And I will clothe him with your tunic
And tie your sash securely about him.
I will entrust him with your authority,
And he will become a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the house of Judah.
22 “Then I will set the key of the house of David on his shoulder,
When he opens no one will shut,
When he shuts no one will open.
23 “I will drive him like a peg in a firm place,
And he will become a throne of glory to his father’s house.

24 So they will hang on him all the glory of his father’s house, offspring and issue, all the least of vessels, from bowls to all the jars. 25 In that day,” declares the Lord of hosts, “the peg driven in a firm place will give way; it will even break off and fall, and the load h*****g on it will be cut off, for the Lord has spoken.”

The language about the key is referring to Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, not to Jesus Christ. This passage is about removing Shebna from his position as treasurer of the house and replacing him with Eliakim.

The key is the key to the house of David, not the key into heaven. The devil is leading you astray because the passage in Isaiah doesn't say anything about the cross of Jesus Christ being the key to heaven. It only talks about the key to David's house being taken from Shebna and given to Eliakim. The message is that corrupt people are not safe because of their high position, but if they are corrupt they will be removed and replaced by someone who is not corrupt, and all their rights to acces to the seat of power will be stripped away. So the teaching is to not become corrupt. There is no teaching here about a key to heaven.

When you add to the teaching that is written, you add confusion from your own mind, and teaching from the devil.

Eve's sin was disobeying God, and trusting the teaching from the devil as superior to the words of God. That is what you are doing.

Will you ever learn to read scripture in the Spirit of God, rather than what makes sense to your carnal mind???

What scripture tells you that Eliakim was a good guy? He was a son of Josiah, a great and good king of Judea. Are you familiar with his great acts; how he cleaned up Jerusalem from gross Idol worship? Are you familiar with how Josiah died?

The people of the land took Jehoahaz, one of Josiah's son's and made him King.
Jehoahaz was taken by Egypts Pharoah to Egypt, where Jehoahaz died there.
The Pharoah of Egypt put his brother Eliakim as King of Judeah, and changed his name to Jehoiakim. -akim is actually Aram, referring to the land of Syria.
One thing that Eliakim had done, was when Assyria and it's king had come to Jerusalem to war against it, Eliakim told the Assyrian King to speak to him in the Syrian tongue so that the Jews of Jerusalem could not understand him (not good). God still helped Jersulem win against the Assyrian king, due to the great king of Jerusalem Josiah.
Anyhow, Eliakim/Jehoiakim was put under tribute to Egypt's king, to stay further war. Eliakim gave an "oath" that he would pay the tribute, then rebelled against it.
This is when The Chaldean king warred against Jerusalem, and after a terrible seige, the Jews went into the great captivity in Babylon. II Kings chapter 23.

"36 Jehoiakim was twenty and five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Zebudah, the daughter of Pedaiah of Rumah.
37 "And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD," according to all that his fathers had done. II Kings 23:36-37

When Cyrus, the king of Persia, was moved by the Spirit of God to let the Israelites go back to Jerusalem and build it, there a very many people that came from the surrounding lands to join, but could not declare of show pedigree of their births as a Hebrew/Jew. Ezra 2:59-63.
It was from these unknown people that an attempt was made to murder Nehemia, and an Ammonite: Tobia, snuck into the Levitical chambers of the Temple to over throw it.

It was the influence of these evil people within Jerusalem that through the ages brought about the Evil Corrupt Priests who manipulated the pegging of Jesus Christ to the Cross (the Key). Just like they tried to do to Nehemia and the Temple.

Do you, JR, have a problem with me being a woman and knowing scripture?? I know you had your ex-wife give you a terrible blow and wound, but it is not "all women" to be blamed. Our spirit, made in the image of God- is not either male or female.
When reading the Holy Bible, you should really try to read the King James 1611. Some find it hard to understand, but in newer revised versions the word useage has cut off the depth of the Holy Bible, which literally takes you into it's layers and layers of God's History dealing with people.

Concerning your knowing scripture, I can't say whether you do or not, even now after having read what you wrote.

I can say, however, that your writing sk**ls are nearly non-existent. I cannot make any sense out of that entire essay. It was a hodge podge of statements and quotes, thrown together in no particular order with no connecting information to explain how the events are connected and no evidence to indicate that any of the characters you named have any relationship to David, Shebna, or Eliakim who were the subject of Isaiah 22.

So however much effort you exerted to write that last post, it was wasted effort, because I couldn't comprehend any useful information from it.

That I will summon My servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah,

You asked - What scripture tells you that Eliakim was a good guy?
Answer: none. What is the point? The scripture says that Shebna was a bad guy, so Shebna was replaced by Eliakim, son of Hilkiah. That implies that Eliakim was better than Shebna. But, even so, I don't see how that is important. What about the Isaiah passage leads you to be concerned about how good Eliakim was? I don't see how that is relevant to the message of Isaiah 22.

Then you brought up Josiah, and say that Eliakim was a son of Josiah. You give no explanation how Eliakim, son of Hilkiah, can be a son of Josiah. So right away, you have lost me, and I am unable to comprehend your writing.

Then you go on to bring up Egypt, Jehoahaz, The Pharoah of Egypt, his brother Eliakim as King of Judeah, Jehoiakim, Syria, and Assyria, various wars with Israel, Cyrus, the king of Persia, Nehemia, and an Ammonite, Tobia, and finally, Evil Corrupt Priests who manipulated the pegging of Jesus Christ to the Cross -- in a scrambled, unintelligible tangle of seemingly unrelated people and events, without giving any rational explanation of why these people and events are relevant to the replacement of Shebna with Eliakim.

I am not trying to be critical of you here. I am trying to help you. If you have something to say, try again, and put things in order and make the narrative flow logically from beginning to end. I am not putting you down for your knowledge of scripture, I am just telling you that the knowledge you have didn't come through. If you want to share your knowledge, the audience has to be able to comprehend what you truly mean to say. Just knowing it is not helpful to anyone but you. To be helpful to anyone else, you have to be able to express it in a way that the audience can comprehend.
