The Democrats’ real strategy in launching recounts

The recount in Wisconsin, and the coming ones in Michigan and Pennsylvania will not change the outcomes in any of the states. No recount ever changes thousands of v**es. I do not think that is the purpose.

The recounts, if done by hand, which can be demanded, may take longer than the last day for completing the official counts in a state and directing E*******l College v**ers. If all 3 states miss the deadline, Trump is at 260, Hillary at 232. No one hits 270.

Then this goes to Congress, where the House v****g 1 v**e per state elects Trump, and Senate selects Pence. This would be first time Pthis happened since 1824, but in that case, John Quincy Adams won in the House, though he had fewer e*******l college v**es than Andrew Jackson.

If this goes to the US House and Senate, and the result is the same as result from the E*******l College without the recounts, why do it? The answer is to make Trump seem even more illegitimate, that he did not win the popular v**e (he lost by over 2.1 million), he did not win the E*******l College (did not reach 270), and was elected by being inserted into the presidency by members of his own party in Congress.

**************************************

The following rules regulate the House's choice of the President:

* Only the top three v**e getters in the e*******l college are to be considered.

* Regardless of its population and number of representatives, each state delegation in the House has only one v**e, for a total of 50 v**es. The District of Columbia, which sends a nonv****g delegate to the House, has no v**e.

* The state's choice is determine by a v**e within its delegation. If that v**e is a tie, the state loses its v**e.

* A winning candidate must receive the v**es of a majority-26-of states.

* There is no limit to the number of b****ts in the House. If the House fails to choose a President by Inauguration Day, January 20, the Twentieth Amendment requires that the Vice-President-elect, provided that the Senate has chosen one, serves as President until the House makes it choice. The Senate follows these rules in its se******n of the Vice-President:
The choice is between the top two vice-p**********l v**e-getters in the E*******l College.

* Each senator has one v**e, for a total of 100 v**es (no v**e for the District of Columbia).

* A Vice-President must be elected by a majority-51-of the whole Senate.

If the Senate also fails to elect a Vice-President, the Succession Act of 1948 provides that the Speaker of the House shall act as President until a President is chosen. The law was enacted under authority given to the Congress by the Twentieth Amendment.
