It's a catch-22!

If you're like most responsible gun owners you keep your home defense weapon in a safe. Usually, in your master bedroom closet. The only problem is...what if you need to protect your family or home within 10 or 15 seconds?

By the time you make your way to the safe and unlock (in the dark)...you’re already too late. In fact many experts believe if you can’t get to your gun within 10-15 seconds there’s no point of having it around as home defense weapon.

So what do you do?

Well, you'd like to keep your weapon at arm's reach... but that's not exactly safe. And...having firearms locked-up rooms away defeats the purpose of having them.

The solution is to strategically place one, two or even three Tactical Traps in your home or business. What is a Tactical Trap? It's a "James Bond" like free floating wood shelf that conceals your choice of rifle or handgun or both.

In my foyer pictured below, the Tactical Trap featured is the shelf right below the mirror. (I also have one in my bedroom and home office)

http://www.homedefensenews.com/article/images/articlepic.jpg

By sliding or placing the "key" over the center of the shelf the locks disengage... now when pressure is applied upwards the "secret trap door" opens to expose a high-density foam lined cavity holding my 9mm Sig P229 and a loaded 1911 .45ACP with some spare magazines. Check out a close up….

Pretty cool-right? You bet it is. And it’s the only “tactical” purchase of mine that didn’t have my wife complaining about me spending money. In fact, she loved it. She got to decorate the top with pictures knickknacks and some other junk. And I get the bottom reserved for my two favorite pistols that gives me peace of mind knowing if something happens-I’m ready to protect my home and family. After all, that’s why you, me, and everyone else keeps guns in the house-right? You bet, especially now-a-days.

Where can you Get a Tactical Trap?

For the absolute lowest price…hop on over to their website at www.TacticalTraps.com and buy factory direct. For a limited time (expires Friday November 25th 2016) they're offering Home Defense News readers (that’s you) a full $100 discount!

Their prices are already more than reasonable, but when you add in the discount that’s good until Friday November 25th 2016 and the extra bonuses they’re throwing in... it's a STEAL!

WOW, thanks you for showing a neat trick, that cost alot, but well worth it. Thanks. But really if you are wearing one on your side, then you shouldn't need it. I have Grandkids, teach them not to touch the shotgun in the corner by the door for fear of Grandma's wrath, then we will do just fine!

But like my wife would say..."I saved $100"...not realizing that she would have saved $330 by not buying it at all! LOL!

I carry one of my guns, (usually my Glock 21) on my person at all times. The others are locked securely in a heavy steel gun safe. Ditto for my wife. What you showed is a classy hide place, but I like my protection a little closer, like within arm's reach. When I lay me down to sleep, one of my handguns, usually said .45, is in or on my nightstand. I have two large, aggressive dogs, at least one of whom sleeps inside at night, so I have an alarm system. I have some mobility issues because of a gimpy leg, so it makes sense for me to carry at all times, or at least have something within reach. If I have my gun hidden somewhere, chances are I can't move fast enough to reach it.

I keep my 9 mil handgun under a cushion at the head of my bed and a 12 gauge pump leaning against the wall next to the bed. I go out, I take the 9 mil. Since I live in a small western town where just about everyone owns guns, and open carry is acceptable, I ain't too worried. We haven't had a gun related crime here in over 20 years.

I have a GSD that lives inside. He is trained to attack on command or upon unannounced entry.
Yeah, you can call me a gun nut. I have a pistol or long gun in every room within reach of my favorite perch. All my weapons stay loaded and at the ready. My favorite pistol is double-action and has no safety.
I'm 53 yrs.old, received my first shotgun on my 7th birthday. Never had an accidental discharge or hit anything that I didn't intend on hitting.
For me, guns are a way of life. My home is my safe place. My weapons guarantee that.
