I have been wondering what about Palin not going to S. Africa for that funeral had to do with anything. Did Obama offer her a seat on Air Force One? I didn't hear about that. She is not an officer of the US government so surely her not going wasn't such a bad thing. I guess when a bunch of leaners get after someone like Palin they just can't look at anything near t***h.

Why did she not go? I wonder how much it would have cost her to make that trip.

But at least she is getting a new reality TV show, where she will be able to shoot animals and jerk meat.

Too bad she missed out on shaking hands with Raul Castro, it would have been headline news for her buddies at fnc

Maybe you can blame Sarah for every shooting that's happened since her speech. Only an imbecile would try to connect that speech with the shooting of Giffords. It's just too bad she was running for VP with a RINO that never intended to win.

Back at the time Palin was in a stadium, with the pictures of democrats heads and their districts, and a bulls-eye around their heads. Citing her "lock and load" mantra with the pure intention of working people up to a frenzy, that not being difficult for the right. Sorry you don't remember this I do. If you want to see an imbecile just look in the mirror.

I've looked and looked and can't find any evidence that ties Mandela to a single act of terrorism. He was in prison during the ANC's most active terroristic attacks, all which pale in comparison to the massacres and other abuses by South Africa's white majority government.

The deadliest incidents attributed to the ANC were in armed clashes with the Inkatha Freedom Party, a black tribe group that was allied with the SA white minority government. At least two clashes occurred, k*****g upwards of 7,000 people from both groups, both of which were armed. That's not terrorism, that's armed conflict.

the deadliest "terror" attack came in 1986, when Mandela had been in prison for nearly two decades. The Church Street bombing, allegedly the work of Joe Slovo, k**led 19, far less than the thousands of black South Africans k**led by police and seurity forces in clashes like 1960s Sharpsville Massacre of unarmed protestors.

Mandela's reaction to the Church Street bombing isn't recorded, but his reaction to statements by his wife, Winnie, who promoted necklacing-placing a kerosene soaked tired around the neck of a suspected collaborator and setting it on fire, is. Nelson Mandela when ballistic and openly condemned his wife's state's. Not long after his release from prison, they separated

Besides the thousands of black South African's k**led by SA's white minority government, most shot in the back as they fled security forces or police, SA's white minority government supported Jonas Savimbi, a former c*******t warlord in Angola. Savimbi was trained in c*******t China but broke away from the nominally c*******t government of Angola because of it's failure to appoint him to a leadership position in Angola's post-colonial period.

Savimbi took to the bush, supported by South Africa and, after the e******n of Ronald REagan, the US. He committed atrocities that k**led an estimated 300,000 civilians. South Africa also supported terrorist organizations in Zambia and Namibia. Deaths due to these three terrorist actions, all supported by South Africa's white minority government and financed by the De beer's diamond congomerate, took an estimate 1.5 million.

Did Mandela take up arms-without a doubt. Did that make him a terrorist? Undoubtedly in the eyes of those who k**led more innocents than could ever be attributed to the ANC.

The ANC has come into disrepute in recent years due to the corruption of some post-Mandela leaders. South Africa has a high crime rate and high poverty rate. T***sition from decades of oppression to a vibrant democracy takes time. And leaders. But there was no retribution by b****s against the white-minority f*****t government that kept them oppressed for decades-a fact that can be directly attributed to Nelson Mandela. .

Armed conflict is armed conflict. We wouldn't be the United States if there had been no armed conflict with Britain. F*****t movements in Germany and Japan in the mid-20th Century would still rule had there been no armed conflict to stop them. There would be no democracy, however imperfect, in South Africa today without the ANC and it's armed conflict.

Your view of Mandela is a minority view-one borne out of ignorance and, in some cases, prejudice. It says more about you than it does Mandela.

I must apologize to BoClown for not reading his Currant article till just now. It was worse than I expected when I passed on it from the beginning.

Finally, I know that you of the overly liberal group really believe that she knows nothing about geography is what that article was all about. You poor souls just can't understand that she never said she could see Russia from here front porch. Nope, that was Tina Fey who said that and you people took the hook in your mouth and ran and are still running with it.
