May I say that I v**ed for Trump because he said he would not appoint a left leaning judge to the Supreme Court. Sure I didn't want that lying Hag of Chappaqua to be elected but it was the judgeship that was my main reason. Now think that he can't appoint a special prosecutor before he is inaugurated so maybe he is just waiting till he is the President. I hardly believe that but it could be. Also, I think that Jason Chaffetz who is the chair of the Oversight Committee will go on with his investigation against her. Trump can't stop that committee from operating since it is Congressional. Also, Trey Gowdy is on a special committee that was begun under the auspices of the House and again I don't think Trump can stop them from operating especially before he takes office.

Also, remember that none of these people can do anything before a trial and they don't want to find out how far Obama would go. Would he really pardon her before a trial? He won't be able to do that after January 20 so they have to wait. Trump is held back by this and the fact that he is only the Elected President and hasn't been inaugurated.

Speaking of inauguration, will his be as grand as the c****ation of Obama was?

Trump promised us a lot- A LOT!- so, he will be forced to trim some of his promises as reality strikes, but he is a man with beau c**p flexibility and experience in dealing with adversity and I trust he will get most of the 'biggies' dealt with. Stuff like strengthening the military, the economy, trust in government, and that huge court issue you mention will ensure his re-e******n to a second term. Pursuing the She Beast is a nise thought, but not what I'd call a 'biggie' compared to all the rest.

That said, I doubt Obama was followed as closely as Trump will be and if Trump waffles... well, a one-term Trump presidency would still be light years better than six months of a Hillary reign.

Do you think perhaps he realizes congress still is investigating her regarding the foundation, plus.impeachment, and at this point in time he can let that proceed without his interference?

He had said he would appoint a special prosecutor. Perhaps right now the investigations and related plans are nearing conclusion and his getting in it could gum it up.

Docadhoc...

Congress has no authority to bring criminal charges against anyone, so, a criminal investigation by Congress is meaningless...
Congress cannot impeach Hillary Clinton because she is not a current Member of Congress or a sitting President or Vice-President...
But President-Elect Trump understands that the Justice Dept, headed by the Attorney General, can bring criminal charges against anyone, so, a criminal investigation by the Justice Dept of actions taken by the Members of the "Clinton Foundation" is meaningful...

Exactly! He said he wouldn't pursue charges, but he didn't say he would attempt to stop the on going investigation from running it's course either.

And this before he even takes office! He was elected because people didn't see him as just another politician. That sure sounds just like every other politician to me.

Not going after her is the best thing to do for the country. That would just drive the wedge deeper between the left and right, when as a country we have had and still have a destabilized economy for many years, we need both sides to come together, get off their over paid asses and work together to do the jobs they were elected to do. Putting her in a Federal Country Club facility is not going to make the country better, but would cost us tax payers more money to do so. The best thing to happen is she lost and hopefully will not ever hold another political seat ever again, or anyone from her family.

And he will appoint a Attorney General and let them deal with Hillary the pig.

He has nominated Jeff Sessions for AG. Sessions is a decent man who is respected on both sides of the aisle and an accomplished attorney in his own right.

Trump never intended to be personally involved in any Hillary prosecution. Media wants to make it look as if he is backing out of his so called campaign "promises".

I just read an article about the NY Weiner sexting case. Allegedly the DOJ is blocking the issuing of warrants because the emails on his.laptop have uncovered a lot of new evidence against Hillary and Bill including some sexual misconduct involving children.

Again, this is media albeit conservative this time.

I think it is best to wait and see rather than convict before the fact. If hhalf of what I read is true, I doubt it could be swept under the rug. There is at least one death involved and too many NY investigators know about it for them all to be silenced.

When Sessions is confirmed he will have a massive load of info to work through and much of it is beyond Obama's ability to pardon.

Lol....we don't know do we CB?

All these predictions coming from all sides. Like a bunch.of rams butting.heads. Right now isn't the correct time to be pursuing any specific direction. It's time to organize, tell the nominated people what he wants, the areas of concentration. Details come soon after.

Of course the left is already trying to make it appear he's backing out of "promises" and the right is again assuming a defensive posture.

The entire scene is ridiculous. It doesn't matter what any of us say. The accusations, the counter accusations, the defenses, the postulatiions, all wasted.

All we can do is wait and see what develops. What ultimately will happen is that one group will come out looking reasonable and the other will end up looking small and foolish. Who knows which will be which?

The best way to not end up looking small and foolish is to not accuse and predict to begin with.

I agree with that assessment. I think the left is trying to present Trumps promises as simple bantering that he doesn't expect to follow through with. And as you have stated, if he goes full throttle with his campaign promises before he is the standing president, he will be fighting for every decision for the next four years. Holding back and getting a strong cabinet formed and his administration on board will work to his benefit in the long run. He is just facing his opponents intelligently. It's easier to boil a frog when you start with cold water!

How many times during the debates did Trump say he does not reveal his plans to the enemy?
