Ron , your not going soft on me are you. I noticed you placed a smiley face at the end of your comment. I have placed various comments on A******n , Minimum wadge, a few others. We will have to continue our conversation. I just left off posting on Article 10 of the bill of rights. I wanted to acknowledge further about your comment on not finishing High school. I never equate intelligence with education. As Calvin Coolidge once said -Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated failures. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.
Another nugget of t***h. 5 of the best colleges in this country, University of Pennsylvania being one, were founded by individuals that all had one thing in common.. They never graduated from College. Benjamin Franklin being just one..

Slingblade68 … Well thank you, I appreciate the prop’s. Though I must admit that while there are times I find that I could fall into a pile of dog doo and standup smelling like roses, there are other times I need help crossing the street.
I have on more than one occasion found myself talking with educated people who – well let’s just say educated and smart are not the same thing! Smart (educated) law makers who:
Think that Bad guys will also register their weapons comes to mind!
Think that Bad guys will turn in their weapons comes to mind!
Thinking that the rich will ‘share the (their) wealth’ is another. (From one of President Obama’s speeches during his first run for President). And here I go - another list in the making!
I made several comments on the guns issue on this web site.

I’m gonna’ go check out what you said on Article 10.

But before I go let me say that I do believe that President Obama’s heart is in the right place when it comes to Health care. Every person in this world should have good medical care… BUT in this economy? On the backs of people who are losing their jobs and their homes? And the way in which it is being done?

I agree with you that Obamas heart is in the right place. It is just that his head is in Lala land. When you reward a type of lifestyle the number of people living that lifestyle will increase.
