When are we going to see signs that state, "CITIZENS OF THE U. S. L***S M****R"!!!
A senior aide to New York City Bill de Blasio posted a photo of his sister Monday holding a sign saying âF**k whitemess.â

Lincoln Restlerâs sister was depicted on a New York street along with their parents, who each held their own signs. Their motherâs sign simply says âLove,â and their fatherâs says, âBlack + brown + immigrant l***s m****r.â
Accompanying the photo Restler wrote, âTo celebrate my mamaâs birthday we took to the streets to stand in solidarity with immigrant New Yorkers. #AquiEstamos #HereToStayâ
The photo, which Restler said was posted in protest to w***e s*******y, was later deleted after he began receiving flak for it.
The New York Daily News reported:
One Facebook friend called the sign inappropriate. âThere are good White People, and you are not going to make me feel guilty that I am,â the man wrote.
A second person wrote: âAnd you represent our mayors office?â
Restler joined the de Blasio administration as a senior police advisor and earns an annual salary $107,625 at City Hall.
Restlerâs sister was apparently protesting w***e s*******y, according to de Blasio spokesman Eric Phillips.
âNo doubt the message was inartful and not clear enough in its intent and thatâs why Lincoln took it off his page,â he said.
âHe understands why people took offense to it and it certainly didnât represent his views,â Phillips added.
Facebook friends werenât the only ones to criticize Restler. The Daily News reported:
But in his own Facebook post Monday night, former City Councilman James Gennaro, who now works for Gov. Cuomo at the Department of Environmental Conservation, resurrected the item and blasted the fact it came from someone connected to the mayor.
âIt seems that to the Mayorâs senior advisor, h**e is okay as long as the right people (or the right racial âstate of mind,â if thatâs what is meant by âwhitenessâ) is h**ed,â Gennaro wrote.
He also blasted Restler for removing the post.
âAs much as I detest h**e speech, I would have more respect for the Mayorâs senior advisor if he would stand by his FB post and have the courage of his convictions to leave it up,â he wrote. âSo Iâll do that for him â and post that which I claim to have disdain for, in order to give people a window into the mindset of a key figure of Mayor de Blasioâs policy team, because I believe that one who takes p***e in h**e and also makes mayoral policy is an incongruity as stark as the signs in his post.â
