So what?

Just move that part of the wall north of the tribe.

Problem solved.

EXACTLY...Super Dave...
That way the Indians can invite i******s onto their reservation.
And become a WIG WAM sanctuary POW WOW "safe space".
I think they are a sovereign nation (like other tribes) so they will need a passport
to get off the reservation and into the USA.
Put that in their slot machine & pull the handle.

Exactly what I was thinking.... great response. Indian land is not technically governed by the USA, so we have no authority to build anything on their lands. The question being, has this tribe negotiated an independent treaty with the US... if they have, then they have tribal sovereignty to govern themselves and the existence of a government-to-government relationship with the United States. What this means, we can go into negotiations to lease land for the purpose of building the wall. I suspect this is what this tribe is looking for. It is just a money thing, once they realize that the wall will be built, even with it relocated north of their land, effectively cutting them off from the rest of their nations, they will negotiate. Their alternative, lease the land to the USA and receive a couple million dollars.. Now then if they do not have a treaty, that is a horse in a different race.

Their sovereignty is limited, but I'm not sure about the details.

If they won't allow wall near them, then US will build a wall to separate them from the mainland. Give them total freedom, separating from the US, called a nation of Native Indians. A complete sovereign rights, and when coming to the US, must have visas and passports.

Complete soverignty would require ending free substandard healthcare and welfare checks.

If they're not part of the solution, they're part of the problem. Period.
