A few thoughts for our liberal friends...

Nobody will disagree that the 2016 political campaign was nasty and contentious; however, it is over, and Mr. T***p w*n. I am neither Democrat nor Republican but rather an Independent with conservative values that include:

1. Follow the Constitution of the United States of America;
2. Be fiscally responsible;
3. Limit government to the enumerated powers granted in the Constitution; and
4. Be a nation of laws.

I don't think any of these values are unreasonable, rather I mention them as a premise for what I am about to say: the last eight years, in my humble opinion,have been a horror. I know that is not what a Liberal wants to believe, but Obama over and over again signed Executive Orders that were unconstitutional, put into a play an expensive and unworkable health care plan, pissed off most of our partner countries (the UK, Israel, Australia, Germany, and I could go on and on), the middle east is a mess, he partnered with terrorist groups (Iran/Cuba/the Muslim Brotherhood), race relations in the US are as bad as I've seen them since the '60s, our police are being disrespected and murdered, and the rule of law only pertains to some groups of people. Our economy is a disaster and border security is a joke. Unvetted refugees are being funneled into the country right and left, and people are terrified that we are going to have another 911 type attack.

I don't think this is the kind of country we want to be and millions of other Americans feel the same, which is why Mr. T***p w*n. We gave the Obama policies a fair shake over the last eight years, and I would hope that liberals and progressives will give Mr. Trump and his administration a chance to turn this country around.

Let's take a deep breath, remember that we are all Americans, and get on with the business of putting this country back together.

The only problem I see here is that liberals think the last eight years have been just fine. And those who aren't as enthusiastic about the last eight are convinced that eight years of Hillary would get them where they want to be.

Personally I believe one has to be sick to look at the past eight years favorably, but that appears to be the liberal mindset. All of those items we list as negatives, they list as positives. Yet if those horrendous policies were allowed to proceed unchecked I wonder how long it would take for them to admit they were wrong?

I used to be a Liberal (until 1996) and switched for two reasons; their attitude that only Liberals were smart enough to run their own lives and no matter how badly their plans turned out, failure was always because those in charge just didn't do it right.

Liberals just cannot grasp the idea that their ideas are the problem, not too little funding and not poor administration. They just don't understand that their vision of the perfect system really needs to be tethered to reality.

Welcome to the side of light. Evidently you were not on the dark side long enough for permanent damage to take over.
That's a very good thing. I had an interesting talk with my Doctor yesterday. A very well placed man with many many
friends in highly placed liberal positions . Very well known people. He knew which way I lean . He ask me what I thought
of the e******n. I told him I was hopeful . He said he was as well and that he could not v**e for Hillary. He v**ed for Trump.
Gave me more hope and made my day. You've made this day for me . I like what you've said very much.
Hope builds . Our Republic may very well stand .

My message to all radical Liberals go to he'll and don't let the door hit you where the good lord split you.
