How does one expand medicare and cut $ 500 billion from the funding to pay for Obamacare ? Those expansion funds come with strings , just like Common Core and are temporary ( two years ) IF they agree to keep Obamacare . Even the GAO admitted the 500 million was counted twice , making it a yet another Obama fraud .

Might want to blame the individual states that drafted those state laws for not looking past what the state needs and just writing a blanket anti democratic law. Its like read it after you pass it. These states know what it takes to keep these rural hospitals going and should have worded it so that they did....that is what we pay them for isn't it???? My confidence in our government is being degraded by these inept polititians we have.mid terms are coming and I urge you to research what these upcoming polititians bring to the table and don't v**e party, v**e for the person......v**e for what they want to accomplish....

Haha! Talk about perfect timing! My State projected a Medicaid "shortfall" then accepted the Fed Medicaid expansion. Once everyone has become used to it and the money runs out, here comes a State income tax increase.

Now you know that businesses cannot afford any more burdens. At tax time they're broke. when negotiating with unions, they're broke. When setting share dividends, they're broke. When bonuses are due for the big wigs, they got plenty of money. Then they're broke again.

There is no such thing as "free money," and federal money strings are always more onerous in the long term than the amount provided can pay for.

Only states, desperate for funds or too shortsighted to see that two years down the road the federal assistance is cut, would agree to expand their Medicaid programs.
