Draining the Swamp:
Questions From: PeterS
Good questions;

1) Virtually everything Trump is going to do will require cooperation from both houses of congress. He's going to have enough trouble getting that from republicans--what is his plan to get democrats on board too?
-- True; The swamp must be drained of NeoCONS as well. He will give it a try, with the podium, and an alternative media, ready to spread the light.

2) As we found out under Reagan and Bush Jr--when you cut taxes and increase spending you will sink yourself in debt. What areas of government does Trump plan on eliminating in order to prevent growth in debt?
-- First money has to be put in circulation, instead of starving the economy. That means putting light on the corrupt bankers and their system. Go back to US Notes, if need be, to do that.

3) If I have my excess cash invested overseas why would I bring it back to this country where it would be subject to a 10% tax?
-- Patriotism? Boycotting? Shaming with lights on them?

4) What are the parts of NAFTA that are bad and how does he plan to renegotiate it?
-- A whole lot of it. It gutted our manufacturing. But that was the g*******t’s agenda;
“Actions at the multinational level will be needed, if the process of international relocation of industries is to be accelerated in an organized fashion…” TC Report #23, *** 1982***

5) If he is willing to renegotiate NAFTA why does he want to scrap the TPP? Is he a capitalist who is against a free market and free trade?
-- Same reason as #4. As Trump keeps saying; We need Fair Trade.

6) Obama has been trying for years to get money for infrastructure redevelopment and congress has yet to give his a nickle. Why will congress open up the vault for Trump when they refused to do so for Obama?
-- Spread light from the Pulpit and the Alternative media. Drain the swamp. Use Alternate funding. Go back to enforcing the Constitution; Article1; Section 8. US Notes, with no interest to the bankers.

7) Ted Cruz and other conservatives have stated that they would block any attempt by Hillary to fill Scalia's seat. Why should democrats cooperate with republicans and support any candidate proposed by Trump?
-- It will be a fight; spread the light.
At this point; handcuffing the Supreme Court, may be good. Enough damage to the Constitution has been accomplished by left wing activist judges, and other sell outs.

Tip O'Neal fought Reagan every step of the way and ended up congratulating Reagan after the got what he wanted !

I think Trump will be the same way he will fight hard to achieve his goals .

One thing Trump will need to do is take it to the public on TV when congress fights against him and let the American people know what's going on !

I think the American people will let their congressmen know how they feel .

Yep; Shine the light on the cockroaches in BOTH parties.
The alternative media is bypassing the Lame Stream Media.
No more successful blackouts.

Right - since it's worked so well so far. How many years has the same message been repeated, repeatedly? The ONLY voice politicians hear - is money - and we the people don't have any. You cannot drain a swamp by shouting at it, the swamp is deaf to everything but - money. POTUS has no money, unless granted by the Congress - so - who will be controlling who?

Obama tried to shame the Congress into doing it's job for years, from TV appearances to State of the Union speeches, to no avail, the Congress cannot BE shamed. Neither Hillary NOR Trump will have any better luck, no matter what the makeup of the Congress is come Jan. 20 2017. Money talks, everything else is deafening silence. Trump cannot force Congress to overcome Citizens United, neither will a new Supreme Court Justice force the Court to reverse it - so - the same damn money will be running things just like always. DC is literally swamped with cash, pun intended, and more cash flows through there DAILY, than there is through Wall Street.

So, if anyone really wants to drain the swamp, they'd need to cut off the endless money supply - and only the Congress can do that - to themselves. Unless Hillary or Donald intend to put drugs into the water supply, neither of them have a snowballs chance in hell of getting anything done. None of the politicians like either of them - and will certainly fight to keep the riches and power they're addicted to.

We should have been obsessed with the Congressional races.

"We should have been obsessed with the Congressional races."
Of course that is real important also.
Trump will have the pulpit.
The Lame Stream Media will have to cover, instead of cover up, what is going on in DC.

Which house? The Senate majority leader, speaking about Citizens United, said he'd like to see ALL campaign finance restrictions removed. Does that sound anything remotely like cleaning house and returning power to the people? The GOP has had the majority in both chambers for 2 years and have done exactly - nothing of note. Stop holding your breath - or you'll die.

Career politicians in both parties need to be drained.
The corruption has become a way of life.

ABC news has an exclusive interview with former EPA deputy chief of staff Kevin Chmielewski in which Chmielewski says that Pruitt lied to Congress concerning firing EPA workers who questioned his lavish spending.

A whistleblower from the Environmental Protection Agency says that Administrator Scott Pruitt was "bold-faced" lying when he told members of Congress that no EPA employees were retaliated against for raising concerns about his spending decisions. […]
Chmielewski said chief of staff Ryan Jackson called him into his office and said: "Hey — Administrator Pruitt either wants me to fire you or put you in an office so that he doesn't have to see you again,” Chmielewski told ABC News adding that "And in addition to that, he wants to put Millan (Hupp) in your spot, as your title and your pay grade."

Millian Hupp is one of Pruitt’s pals—the one who got a massive raise after spending her time on very important issues.
The pay hike came after the 26-year-old staffer oversaw an extensive housing hunt for the administrator last year. Hupp at times conducted the search during office hours, according to a former EPA employee and others who interacted with her, activity that ethics experts said constitutes a violation of federal rules.

But leapfrogging his friends over longtime employees is far from the only thing that Pruitt has done. According to Chmielewski, it appears that someone at the EPA has forged documents to try and protect Scott Pruitt’s lies.

The EPA declined to comment in response to questions about Chmielewski’s allegations against Pruitt and his staff. ABC News obtained a personnel form filled out by an EPA HR officials that says he resigned on March 17.
The form is not signed by Chmielewski, who says he was actually forced to leave a month before that date.
“Resigned” is definitely not how the former deputy chief of staff put the situation.
In an exclusive interview with ABC News' Kyra Phillips, former deputy chief of staff Kevin Chmielewski said he was "100 percent" forced out after raising concerns about Pruitt's spending on first-class travel.

But lying about forcing staffers to leave, and covering up his actions, are far from the only lies Pruitt told to Congress. He also completely misrepresented the “security concerns” that he says forced him to fly first class.
In two separate hearings Thursday, Pruitt presented to lawmakers a “threat assessment” that he said came from Inspector General Arthur Elkins detailing various death threats against him. …

“The memo that he read from was not from Inspector General Elkins. It was an internal memo from Assistant IG for Investigations Patrick Sullivan,” OIG spokeswoman Kentia Elbaum said in a statement.
At that hearing, Pruitt admitted that he did know about the raises offered to two staffers, reversing earlier statements, but continued to deny that he knew either how those raises were to be given—using money set aside for environmental consultants—or the amounts of the raises. He also blamed the purchase of a $43,000 soundproof booth for his office on “career individuals” at the EPA.

It was the "Do Nothing Republicans" swamp that needed drained during the Obama administration and now it's the "Rob America Blind" Trump administration that needs drained.
