Take a look at what the U.N. thinks should be on your plate for dinner tomorrow, instead of Roast Beef.

According to a report by the U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization.

Grasshoppers, crickets and other insects contain nutrients that could make them a good replacement to beef in the hunt for more sustainable food sources, The researchers analyzed grasshoppers, crickets, mealworms and buffalo worms for their mineral contents and estimated how much of each nutrient would likely get absorbed if eaten, using a lab model of human digestion.
The results therefore support the idea that eating bugs could potentially help meet the nutritional needs of the world's growing population

I have a suggestion Let those morons start eating them then I will join in No more of this useless bulls**t. Just like the garbage, they serve in schools for Michelle Obama's lunch program. Tell the U.N. to take a hike.

The UN is useless to the people around the globe because this organization is the tool of the g*******ts. The UN work for the political war machine.

gatsby,

Despite the fact that worms are eaten by some people and grass hoppers have been chowed on by this old guy, to develop the husbanding sk**ls and packaging for large scale sales will be expensive and time consuming. A few pioneers are doing exactly that and at least one that was on air is doing very well.

Much quicker and easier to lower the population of the world then to increase food production..

I feel a world wide lottery should be put into effect. Winners could escape the fear and frustration of this world and leave in a painless and peaceful manner..

Throw them the hell out of this country. The U.N. building would make nice low income housing.

There is this one guy ob the travel channel that travels all over the world and samples their food and methods of cooking etc. He has eaten insects and other things on many an occasion and sometimes comments on how it tastes. He has taken and eaten stuff I would consider gross and would not eat it.

Ken,

see that higher plane ahead of you? If you evolve further you may reach that high level..

That is where I live now and I do not wish to leave..

Only the unhappy and afraid need to partake in the lottery... I am neither of those...
